It was an interesting dream as I've never dreamed of lions before. It seems we were stuck somewhere together so he could have eaten me. I was scared of that in the dream but he ended up my protector in someway as he savagely strangled a cat or a similar type of animal while i looked on. Pure red/black blood rushed out of the dead animal that had its head ripped. The lion killed another animal to get enough meat in reserve so that he doesn't have to eat me as I'm the alternative obviously.
It was a scene similar to "life of Pi" except that I felt there was an unspoken pact between this lion and me that he would do anything not to hurt me...I didn't wake up with bad feelings but I am curious about an interpretation.

Hello zarea  In this case, the lion could represent your father or some other male figure of authority. Are you in a situation where a powerful male is fearsome yet also protective? Otherwise, the dream could suggest that there is an issue/situation in which you need to shift your feminine energies into a more aggressive or authoritative position/level (lion) in order to overcome or otherwise deal with other, possibly feminine energies/aspects/instincts (killed cat) that are not serving you well in this instance, be they within yourself (receptiveness, nurturance, intuition, etc.) or people around you (possibly women). Thanks Randall and Ra,I'll think about your interpretation Ra...I don't think it refers to a man in particular pressuring me, at most career pressure. I think it's my own growth as you alluded and rebirth as I'm going through a pluto transit. IP: Logged |
