I apologize for this not being a dream report, exactly, but i'd just like some insight on this...

So before I moved into my own place, my boyfriend and I were living with his Mom. When I first moved in with him, everything was fine. I'd have a couple bad dreams here and there but that' s normal for me. Slowly, over time they happened more and more until it was an every night thing. It got to the point where I would wake up screaming and would only wake up because my boyfriend would have to shake me awake.

I remember there was one time where I guess I realized that I was dreaming because I was so terrified that I started chanting "wake me up, wake me up, wake me up" in my dream. I was then shaken awake by my frantic boyfriend who told me that I was whispering wake me up in my sleep.... so freaky.

Then, as soon as we switched rooms to the guest room, they stopped. Completely. They didn't slow down, they COMPLETELY STOPPED. What on earth was that room..?!

Hello LeonisStar

There certainly could be some kind of energy associated with that room that you are picking up on. You could try and "sage it".

Sometimes the direction we lay in can affect how we sleep. For most, sleeping with the head pointing north allows for a more restful, peaceful sleep. Some prefer pointing south, others east or west, and for some it doesn't seem to matter.

Are you oriented differently in the guest room?

Hello.

Orientation of the bed is certainly important, but it depends greatly on the level of development of the soul of the person concerned.
The higher the level, the more important the orientation is.
North and east are the preferred positions.
The gravity of LeonisStar's nightmares is showing the problem is not only (or at all) bed-direction related.
There may be a portal in the specific room or it may be haunted, but if not, there's an evil energy there and it should be taken care of.
Smudging with white sage is a good way to go.

Good luck :-).

Thank you for the replies!

I did indeed switch the orientation of the bed multiple times, the first few days it would work as a sort of placebo affect but they always came back and I tried every single direction. I thought something was wrong with me and I was highly considering going to a sleep doctor, but I tried to knock it out naturally first trying tons of different health store options. None of them did me any good but put me to sleep faster, the nightmares were still there.

I agree that there was something wrong with the room, I just don't understand why my boyfriend didn't have any of the problems I was having. In the other room my bed was facing north I believe. Luckily we moved out of that house.

Surround yourself with a meditated white light before you sleep.

"It will go the whole way all around your bed, nothing will be able to enter into this zone you have created without you willing it."

hi, I used to experience similar dreams for awhile but this helped me greatly,
It is called Surah baqarah in the Quran (any negative energy, any bad energy will leave immediately)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FGLqe-5bgU

play it on a volume enough for you to hear and comfortable enough to sleep. leave it while you sleep or play it after sunset if you please.

if this is too long

try this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVf_gbDzW8g

(play it 3 times after sunset)

also burn some frankincense and myrrh on charcoal and fumigate the house.

sweet dreams

I'll definitely have to try that out! Although I've moved out of the house/room I still have nightmares every once in a while. That's just something that has been common for me since I was young. Thanks!
