Over the course of the year I had some dreams were the situation was the same only the people were different. For example: I am in danger. Someone wants to hurt me by trapping me inside of a house or a building. I fight to escape and I MANAGE to escape by going out of the window. In all the dreams I had everytime I tried and managed to escape the "door" was actually the window. A few days ago I had probably the most frightening dream ever. I was in the elevator with a childhood former friend. A girl. We wanted to go upstairs but the elevator went down. FAST! I could feel the speed, the fear i felt, the fear my friend felt, everything. I thought we were gonna die. When the elevator stopped I realized we were alive and in front of us there was a window. We went out of that elevator through that window. The same night I had another one with the same situation. There was a white building and someone told me I was in danger and that I have to escape. I saw the window. Because the room was situated on a top floor and in reality I have fear of heights I got scared but I could feel the impulse to run. And I did. I escaped. As I can see the dreams are repeating themselves and I dunno what to think. What could they mean. IP: Logged |

Hello Rosalind Anxiety, stress, confinement, trapped, danger, fear … what is causing these feelings in waking life? What is "dangerous" to your emotional life? The dreams could be suggesting that your way out of this situation is not obvious or necessarily easy (door) but that awareness and intuition (window) will provide the answer, and the exit. I know. I have many fears, anxiety, stress etc, panic attacks in real life. I feel trapped, suffocated etc. Dunno what to say. I do think it was a lucid dream. Felt very real. IP: Logged |

Think about the windows in these dreams. It might help to meditate on this symbol. Perhaps you can glean something which could be of help to you and general anxiety.Thank you for sharing your dream. IP: Logged | |
