Perhaps you feels a connection because he is an aspect of yourself. From my limited perspective, I would suggest that this man represents a masculine aspect of self, one which has been neglected, unacknowledged, or simply not utilized (black man/black clothes). The right side of the body symbolizes your masculine side, so his blind right eye may emphasize further the "blindness" you have of this masculine aspect, and the need for you to "see" it (stare). This aspect may be one you are not used to utilizing (stare is frightening) but would be beneficial for you to become aware of and activate (eyes=consciousness/awareness). The question is, which masculine aspect are you in need of activating? Aggressiveness, assertiveness, strength, action?

If you were to be more assertive, show more strength, or take more action in your daily activities, do you think your anxiety level could be reduced?
