Hi

Writing down my dream here cause otherwise I forget interpreting them. Last night was pretty fancy: I apparently was housesitting my friends gorgeous house. Unfortunately there was a fire (or multiple fires) in the kitchen because of the dodgy gas cooker which is in need of replacement (I could honestly use a new one irl).

Also there were no fire extinguishers & I was running back & forth with wet towels to put out the fire. When I looked in the kitchen cabinet/old fashioned pretty closet all the herbs in it were still fresh & green & rather lush. This surprised me because most of the cabinet burned.
I also felt bad cause my friend & her husband trusted me with their house and now there were multiple fires!!

Please ask me questions to explain. That's normally the only way to start explaining my own dreams... Not kidding...
@Ra: always love your input & happy NY to you

-------
In the meantime I'll give it a try. Fire is illumination & a rapid process. So where am I on fire?
Kitchen is where we take in ideas, but this I think is related to the creative process. That would all make sense so far, because I'm cooking up some new projects. I may be going too fast there though.
I'm alone which tells me it's related to my personal process, but I also am housesitting. The house is representative of the self ~ so what's going on there...
The people the house was from I look at as really secure.
Then the lush herbs... Spices... Spicing something up? And they were saved from the burns. It even made me feel like it was a treasure...
I wasn't scared, but kind of annoyed & also the running around with wet towels wasn't really effective I felt...

Possibly all about transforming with all the fire there. Herbs is medicine/medicinal to me & has magic & healing qualities. And I really was delighted with them...

Hey Twirl,

I'll give it a go in interpreting. What struck me most about your dream was the herbs and the fact they were lush and untouched by the fires. It feels as if there is a growth in your life...that you wish to protect? Are you working very hard? The sense of guilt at housesitting and something going wrong, hence the fires.

Just a few thoughts,

Sparkling

Oh wow, thanks, Sparkling :-) I think you just started up a new thought process!
I am working really hard to accomplish some growth, but it feels like I'm just running around (which is probably the wet towels trying to put out those different (small) fires! Not very effective & that's really what it feels like & it gor me a bit down today, cause I'm just getting stressed (due to those fires apparenty ).
And yes, the herbs really stayed with me most too. It would still suggest i'm focussing too much on the non important crisises (fires) instead of those lush herbs that seem to be locked away somewhere.

Thanks Sparkling. This really helped me
I'll meditate on the herbs later on and see how I can apply them in my life.

Edit: and then the lack of a fire extinguisher, is the lack of 'proper equipment' to effectively deal with things like fires, but I'm having to work with the 'wet towels'. Which is true, cause I can only invest little, which makes everything last so much longer.

Ps, part 2: also reminded me of a computer game suddenly. -soft cheerful music- "You have found the herbs!" - magic cabinet flungs open- (Which then will give you extra stamina or healing or something )

Hello Twirl

I apologize for missing this. Sounds like you guys are on the right track with it, though.

Could house sitting be saying something about responsibility? Perhaps responsibility for certain choices you have made (kitchen) that may affect others? Are you unprepared, or do you feel ineffective in dealing with a situation which you have been putting off (dodgy cooker)?

Did you figure out the meaning of the herbs?

Hi Ra

Thanks for the extra questions & comments!
I think the house sitting is in regards to trying to be more effective (I house sit their house often irl. It's gorgeous & 'very settled'). So I thought it was that more (stability, etc.) then the responsibility with others. I think it does relate with feeling ineffective. More so cause I seem mostly busy with the 'fires' instead of with the herbs. I didn't figure out what it was. Not even in meditation. I think it is a cure/solution.
If I do figure out what the herbs meant, I will definitely update. It was 'mint' & basil by the way. I adore mint cause it's refreshing & uplifting & clears spaces/works on lungs. The Basil actually felt like it wasn't my herb (my friend uses it a lot). But in general I really thought "growth" was fitting. That's really what I am trying to work on.
Thanks Ra!
