hey allI am afraid I can't remember all the dream, but what I can remember is that I was pregnant in the dream, with a little girl. My mum appeared and was dictating what the name should be: "Isabella", I had to have an operation as the baby was coming, but I had to have a caesarean. I was in a corridor with natural light. There was a house and corridors and greenery outside and sunshine at some point. I get the feeling this dream is about re-birth, self-worth (my own), the relationship with my mother, and my desire to perhaps have a "re-birth". Am not sure if this is a positive or anxiety dream, it does feel to have some importance... Sparkling IP: Logged |

I got the same feel you did pretty much. How is the relationship with moms? You mention something such as dictatorship...Isabella ring a bell to you?

Hello  The relationship with my mum is strained, she is needy and then emotionally distant. I learnt over the last couple of years coping strategies for dealing with my reaction to her. The way in which in the dream, I felt she was controlling the situation (my pregnancy which I viewed as precious)and naming my baby. I didn't know that about Isabella...I had liked that name as a child. So perhaps this dream is about my own childhood? and feelings on parenting? The caeasarian birth is also how I was born (4 months premature!) Sparkling IP: Logged |

Interesting. Possibly it has something to do with your relationship to your mother. Or perhaps it could be a reflection on your own maternal instincts and that of a nurturing spirit. A rebirth yes in caring for yourself and opening your eyes to a deeper connection within. Your mother could represent a significant key to this passage of enlightenment. Or this could possible relate to a future harmony within your own soul and self. (Your house & that of being in light)...you say at some point there was sunlight; leading to an explanation of as time passing perhaps.I'm a sag too IP: Logged |

I feel it was about my own re-birth. I am still not sure of the meaning of "Isabella" but the actual meaning of the name is indeed enlightening. I may need to think this one over a bit more... Sparkling IP: Logged |

Thinking of maternal themes and relationships, I found out today that my dad's mum (my grandmother) died in December..Life is so short....but there is also rebirth,.. IP: Logged |
