Hello! I need help interpreting my dream. To start with - i haven't seen any movies or anything prior to this dream in years concerning dragons.

I was in a somewhat interesting place, like a kingdom or such. There was a beautiful castle. The kingdom was taken over by evil dragons (they were like snakes, only with wings and human faces). We - the humans - fought them. I do not remember exactly what happened, but i won their king - the worst of them all, sliced it and basta. Nevertheless, he was still alive and needed to be put down someplace safe. People of the kingdom were happy and saved. I then found myself with this dragon in my arms (obviously he had reduced) on an island where were no people. I put it there, but the problem was - how to get back home. And then it came - a beautiful white dragon - it was female dragon, she also had wings and was very friendly. She took me under her wings and we flew across the ocean, it was fantastic! I remember those surreal feelings, that i was protected and amazed at how beautiful the world was from above. When we came back, it wasn't the kingdom anymore, it was my ordinary life in a city. I don't remember anything afterwards.

Please help me understand what could this dream mean! Any insights will be appreciated.

Hello Selene

To me, this dream seems to symbolize your developing Self. Defeating the evil dragons likely relates to conquering primitive, negative, unwanted aspects of yourself. It could also symbolize breaking away from traditional, parental, or cultural programming in the quest for self realization/identification.

The result of this "conquest" is new or more enlightening (white) wisdom/knowledge/strength (dragon) and a higher, broader perspective (flying) of the world and your place within it (back to ordinary life), perhaps with a touch of magic.

Sound like the path you are on?
