Topic: Please! First nightmare in a really long time!

So I was at a resort kind of deal and it was beautiful. There a backyard type of place full of greenery it looked so perfect.
I was with family and friends, mostly little kids. I was watching over them and one little blonde kid I've never seen before was being bad so I got after him and he said sorry. We were all playing outside and then the little blonde boy sees a huge scorpion along a path and starts throwing rocks at it then he hits the scorpion and the scorpion lashes back and runs swiftly towards the child and stings him.Then I tried to distract the scorpion after so I hit it too and it came after me but I tried to out run it. But it caught up to me and stung me on the foot and the pain was so bad and I tried stomping on it but it stung me again on my kneecap and then again on my back and just stuck to my hoodie not letting go of my back. I was terrified and couldn't walk so I went inside the resort and told someone to call 911. I was going into an elevator and a woman tried to help me. She got the scorpion off my back and did some sort of movement which made the scorpion curl up and then she asked for toothpaste which was the only way to fully kill it but it was too late and the scorpion un-curled itself but the lady managed to kill it after. I sat down and I was my kneecap was smoking where the scorpion stung me. It was burning my flesh and I could see inside my knee. It was so disgusting and gorey. There was smoke and I could see my flesh just disintegrating and the pain was horrible and it was like a huge fleshy crater where my knee was then I woke up terrified.
It was so bad I touched my knee and felt so relieved when I realized it was just dream.
What could this be interpreted as? I know scorpions are omens for danger or treacherous friends.

I just really need to learn what the smoking, burning toxic, fleshy knee means. I resently went back into hanging out and talking friends since I was going through my routinely hermetic phase where I close off to the world. I need to know if this means a hidden enemy or something else.. please help!IP: Logged |

I see the Scorpio as you. So what behaviour are you portraying that's damaging to you/unables you to move forward?
It might relate to some fear of others being 'out to hurt you'.

Why do you see the Scorpion as me? In my dream the Scorpion acted in harsh retaliation which I related too in the near past but I'm trying to change that aspect. It also clung onto my back throughout half of my dream until that mysterious lady took it off of me. It was the size of my head and also very terrifying to me. I just don't get why my knee was the centerpoint of the harm. It was so apalling, my knee was literally becoming a crater and I could see my flesh and muscles ripping apart but the odd thing was that there was no blood but smoke instead. It still baffles me. Hi  I see all that appears in the dream as aspects of the dreamer. Animals relate to our instincts and behaviours. Nightmares only come up if we have been surpressing parts of the self. It's like a warning signal from the subconscious to catch your attention. The lady getting it of your back is your anima (you are male, right?), so she is helping you with this. Perhaps listen a bit more to your own intuition.
The knee and the foot are parts that help you move forward and now it's 'blocked'. So what behaviour is that?
If you just literally came back from a 'retreat' (hermit phase), it could relate to something being toxic for you. But I don't see it as hidden enemies. But perhaps you dislike the crowd you hang out with/are they not helpful with getting you move forward on your life path. Those are questions you can ask yourself. Just some thoughts.
