I was at a random prom in Cancun with people I had never even met or seen before, yet they all knew me. We were all just about to head over to where it was being held, when we see this really really yellow crescent moon in an upside down horseshoe shape. Everyone in the dream wanted to get closer to it and somehow we got in water to try getting a better look. Then all of a sudden all you see is this HUGE moon falling completely filling the sky and as it's falling it's getting smaller and smaller until it's a beach ball and people are playing with it and whenever someone would it toss back into the sky it'd get back into position but wouldn't stay. Before anything bad happened I woke up. It was the most vivid dream I've ever had!

What in the heck could any of that mean? It really really had me and still does have me quite scared and shaken up a bit. It's like I knew everything bad was going to happen before anyone else realized what was happening.

Boy, did you see that Black Moon?

Cause you just described it to a Tee.

It was the most beautiful thing I ever saw.

I don't think it were black, once it fell into the water everything went black. It was so intense!

No, the Black Moon that happened a few days ago. It was sort of like the Moon and Sun were juxtaposed, cause all you could see was a horned sliver down below, like a crescent.

But it was the Sun, not the Moon.

The Moon was the big dark circle covering the Sun. It was the most eerily beautiful sight, Barbie!

We came up over the hill at twilight, and there it was.

Awesome.

Hey Barbie,

Was your overall feeling that of being afraid? How did you feel throughout the dream? That can help to decipher the meaning to you.
How do you see the Moon? What does it represent to you?
I'm also intrigued about your upside down horseshoe, a sign of being out of luck.
The people & you & the party seems to relate to you versus how you deal with the outer world.

The people are 'random'. Are there enough meaningful relationships in your life currently? Or do you wish for more connected people in your life?
What did you think that you noticed they all know you, but you did not 'feel them' (water - moon ?) much?

What does Cancun mean to you? Isn't that where the carnival is being held? (Not sure).
A prom is a milestone. What is being celebrated and/or a 'closing phase' in your life?

Your symbolism is quite personal. So just a few questions to get you started. Hope it helps

@Twirl
I wasn't afraid shockingly until after people started playing with this beach ball like moon as if it were a beach ball lol. I felt like they were disturbing it or could harm it and kept yelling at these strange guys to stop. I was just afraid of the unknown and felt like I had seen the end of the world in a way. It really had me shaken up.

I actually really like the moon. I think it's beautiful and really is apart of all us. When those guys were tossing it around I felt like they were messing with my soul. I'm extremely protective, but not anywhere half as close as I was in the dream of that moon. So I guess it means a lot more to me than I thought.

The upside down horseshoe moon really intrigued me. I wasn't expecting it at all. It was sooo yellow and just the shape didn't look normal and then out of nowhere the actual moon comes flying out of the sky filling it up as it's falling.

I didn't know any of the people but still seemed to really enjoy myself. I felt like I had known them but didn't. Hope that makes sense ? I used to have too many people that I thought were meaningful and worthy and have pretty much lost all of them. Which is fine I feel everything happens for a reason. They are out of my life for a reason. Maybe the random people symbolize new people, friends possibly? I moved to a different state to be with my boyfriend(a member here actually ) and our relationship is the most meaningful. Nothing else matter to me more than him. Maybe it has somethin to do with our relationship... ? I have an air moon, Libra to be exact and a water Venus/Mars.

I felt like they all really liked me and kind of idolized me in a way. It was strange. We all seemed to really enjoy ourselves on our way to our prom.

Cancun doesn't really mean to much to me I don't think. I would LOVE to go to Cancun lol but not too much. Maybe in the future ?

My honey and I have talked about and plan on getting married in the future so maybe that's the celebration. ?

Thank you so so much you've really helped me understand so much more now.

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. I'll get back to it a bit later
From what I hear now: 'luck literally came falling down from the sky'. The moon is very romantic of course. But may perhaps also relate to LindaLand (astrology). Cancun may relate to this 'honeymoon period' between you two. The dark, that it may also be a bit scary (on a subconscious level - dark) that all went so quickly between you to, so you want to handle it carefully

I have to think about the extra people in your dream though. It normally relates more to (outside) surroundings & how they react to this. Not so much one on one and/or love related. So perhaps how the people/surroundings/society even responds to this. And it may tell you to be a bit careful about sharing too much and/or letting others opinions get in the middle, so you can both take the time to get to know each other better.

Yeah, I know from you & Deepfreeze, very nice
