Soooooo..... It's not completely unusual for me to have dreams. Last night's dream was so vivid, so real, and so strange that I had to share it to see what it could possibly mean. So, I was in the basement of a home. I'm not sure if it was the home that I lived at or not. It was large, dirty, wet basement. Lots of water as if were raining. There was a large hand built tool bench running the length of the basement. It puts me in mind of my friends basement a little that has that and a bunch of old tools and things in it. (which I walked through just the other night btw)
There were lots of spider webs and just a dirty basement.
It had a very long slope that went further into the basement.
I had this heavy bag (boxing bag) that was sledding down the slope on. Then would climb back up and do it again. Just like sledding on the snow. I was covered with clumps of dirt, spider webs, and just filthy wet. I started to brush my arms to get the nastiness off of me. I noticed one spot on my arm that wouldn't brush away. (inside of my left arm just above the elbow)
I tried to pull it off but it was my flesh. It was a wound that had started to heal. Basically just a hole in my arm, a little jagged, but very very clean. I squeezed it and this, what LOOKED like a pearl came out of my flesh. It was extremely clean, and white... glistening. In the dream I just remember being extremely confused.

Very interesting symbolism! In short my first impression is that you found something very valuable within yourself & diving deep into your subconscious (basement, all things hidden about yourself) & whatever pain that brought up (wound) it also gave you a new treasure - valuable. Possibly related to your value of self. By no means this interpretation is complete, but wanted to give you a reply  IP: Logged |

Hello DeepFreeze I agree. As something precious/valuable from the depths, this pearl likely represents some precious insight, wisdom, or understanding being gained through the experience of some past injury (hole in arm), likely emotional in nature (lots of water/raining), which has been residing within your subconscious (basement). What emotional wound have you been healing from? Has it been unexpectedly transformed into a "pearl of wisdom"?  IP: Logged |
