I have theses dreams since I was little where I would come upon a crime scene but there's no body, just two pairs of doll's arms and legs. There was never any blood, and I don't know who was dead. The scenes are never the same but it's always carrying some sense of dead with thoses body parts. A week ago I had a really bad nightmare, in that dream I woke to find a really weird button on my chest, materializing there overnight. When I tried to pluck it off, it came busting out of my chest in the form of a doll/baby's arm, and hanging there because it was attached to my body. What is different in this dream is I felt that it was a living thing, not dead anymore and it would destroy me to get out. I'm really scare, could it means some illness? I hope you would give me some ideas to ease my mind.

Bonjour Tulipe, bienvenue à LindaLand

Because these dreams have been occurring since you were little, I do not think this has to do with physical illness.

I can't be sure about what the doll parts mean exactly. You will have to examine this carefully and introspectively, perhaps through meditation. Maybe future dreams will reveal the answer.

I could certainly be wrong, but I feel that the doll parts/crime scene dreams reflect something that you saw, witnessed, or found when you were very young. This experience may have been something you did not fully understand and/or it had a traumatic effect upon you. At the very least, it impacted you psychologically or emotionally enough to be pushed into your subconscious and recur through your dreams over the years.

The energy of this experience has been "buttoned up" (button on chest) within you, and perhaps this recent nightmare is an indication that it is time to let it out, to expose its attachment to you (attached to your chest), to understand it, to "get it off your chest".

The chest is also related to breathing and thus symbolically to anxiety. It is possible that the experience, hiding within your subconscious, has been an unacknowledged/unknown source of some persistent anxiety within you.

How do you feel about this? Could there be some truth here, or do you feel I am way off?

Merci Ra, pour votre bienvenue

Yes, what you said is like you understand my problem exactly. I can't say it was a traumatic experience but I had the feeling that the world as I known it has end. I didn't make the connection in the past because I was very young but what you said just click. I suppose that it's time to confront it and put it in the past but I'm scared now because letting go of something familiar (although it's pain and not good for me) is still a very scaring process. This year I discovered that I'm much courageous than I thought and may be this is the time to end this fear. Thank you Ra, you make my day

I think the key to your dream lies in the fact that you suddenly dreamt that you were the doll. I don't agree that it likely means you have witnessed a crime, I think it more likely means that you have unfinished business and that you will keep having these dreams until you deal with your demons. Seeing as you are the doll, I believe you have felt suppressed and controlled at a young age and that you have still not broken out of this cage. In fact I believe the button popping symbolizes your fear that if you "pull the plug" and address these issues you will "explode"/not be able to handle it.

The murder scene that you are dreaming of represents your sense that negative influences in your life is sucking the life out of you. Because you finally realized that you are the doll, I believe you are starting to realize who or what these negative influences dragging you down are.

I think you have two choices. You can create barriers to these negative influences, or you can remove them from your life. Since the first option doesn't seem to be working/happening (hence the recurring dreams), I think I would go for the second option.

I don't know if this is about a person, a situation you are placed in or negative past experiences, but your subconscious is telling you that you need to face it because it is killing you inside.

Lots of love to you on your journey,
Sibyl

Thank you so much, Sibyl. Ra and you got me really thinking about my childhood and finding out what the problem is. I have a negative past experience but the way I deal with it is not healthy. I have a tendency to suppress my feelings so they manifest into dreams a lot. Also, can we have a sense of déjà-vu in dreams? Sometimes in my dreams I know that I have been in that situation before but it was very fleeting.
