Recently, around morning time - i had a dream where Saturn was shooting with something that looked like a gamma ray - kinda like this (but it had 2 red streams in the middle - twirling around each-other like plasma):

...in Earth's direction (or at least - that's what i thought while looking at the trajectory of the rays). But then - i noticed that it was hitting the Moon - which was slowly shattering (as if being drilled) from the side where it was taking the hit. At that time - i didn't acknowledged the Moon as being targeted but more like an obstacle in the path of the ray... a form of incidental defense (like a shield) - which just happened to be there - taking a hit before the ray would reach us (i took that as a form of sacrifice - which gave us some extra time... to be here - to exist). At first, was looking at this event on a monitor - as if there was a camera filming this occurrence from outer-space, but few moments latter - i went to the window - and i could see the Moon above... but only for a brief moment - as it started pulsating for couple of times in faded nuances of red and pink - and then it exploded... or more like - it disintegrated into dust almost instantly... until nothing was left of it. At that point i was expecting the the ray to hit us... since there was nothing left in it's path - but instead of the ray - there was something else heading in my direction... a huge dark sphere shaped object(seemed mechanical of nature). Was coming down slowly... and once it got close to my building - i woke up (as we normally do in dreams - when something scary is about to happen). I kept looking for an example - but couldn't find one that looks exactly like the sphere i saw. To some extent - it resembled with this one:

...but without those screw shapes and the lines that intertwine around the screws. Though, it was filled with rectangular shapes - as the one from above, but imagine each of those shapes illuminating - seemed to be filled with lights (thus the mechanical look).

Intrigued...

Very personal symbolism of course. What were you doing in outer space? Were you alone? Where were the monitors? How did you feel about the explosion of the moon?

The Moon to me is femininity, intuition & emotions. Is that suffering due through some very strict & structured attacks from 'Saturn' (serious side of life?). Or are you trying to control your emotions more? What options are you exploring? Are you looking for a break through of some sort? Do you feel your emotions are in the way of really getting where you want to be?

How does the dream make you feel in general?

I was in my room and that's where the monitor was (the one from my PC) - but the image on it was quite vivid - as if i was watching it from outer space. I was alone... come to think of it - there was nobody around - since i wanted to share that with someone and couldn't find anyone. Even outside... i couldn't see a living soul (be it human or something else). The scenery was lifeless.

Was kinda saddening - watching the moon getting hit and latter destroyed... but also scary - especially after it was destroyed - kinda like "this it - there's nothing holding that ray back". And then i saw that Sphere - full of dim lights... heading towards me - which scarred me into waking up when it got close to my building. That dream - had a vivid vibe to it... so vivid - that when i woke up - i was actually relieved that it was just a dream.

Try writing down your personal association with the objects/words. We all have very personal dream symbolism.
The fact that you are actually in your house makes it different though pointing towards your personal process. Also there's a longin for that outer space (potential . Reaching out?)
What feels lifeless in your current life? Looking at life through a lense/monitor is reflecting on out lifes. What's happening at large there? What does if show you? Can you actually see that picture?
Just see what moon & saturn represent for you personally I think that may be a good starting point

Anyway, thanx Twirl - your thoughts on this helped me see things from a different perspective - a more personal approach.

My immediate thought was that it had something to with parents as the moon represents the mother and saturn the father also.
Definately represents the rational side dominating the emotional. Perhaps you struggle to acknowledge or show your emotions? This could go back to childhood perhaps?
