Amillian Knowflake Posts: 74 From: New Zealand Registered: Mar 2014	posted March 25, 2014 02:25 AM I had this really trippy (yet cool) dream probably about 2 weeks ago but it still resonates with me...Anyways i had a dream i was standing at one end of a long darkened hallway the walls looked wooden, there was a open door right at the other end of the hallway and i was looking at it, it was night time because i could see the full moon outside the doorway and it was rising over a lake. I'm standing there then all of a sudden i can hear this loud noise, it goes "Brrrr Brrrr Brrrr" and it's like a deep vibrating kind of noise if that makes sense, and it keep's getting louder and louder. The hallway starts shaking and i look up to see that the ceiling is caving in because somethings pushing through, as i look i notice it's a giant sphere like object - planet looking with oscillating rings spinning round (very Saturn like, if you've seen that movie 13 ghosts the rings were spinning around like that ring machine thing on the floor, reminded me of that)....I don't feel scared at all in my dream, i see all the destruction it's caused because it's busted the hallway up lol but i feel quite peaceful for some reason. That's all i can remember of the dream, if anyone has any insight on this about what it could mean that would be cool. Thanks IP: Logged

It is difficult to adequately express the meaning through definition because it is the type of dream that is more about the experience and energy. But there are plenty of symbols to give an idea of the meaning , and as typical with this type of dream, the symbols are redundant and overlapping in their meanings, adding a sense of depth as well as ensuring a kind of focus. The long, darkened hallway represents transition/change from a less illuminated state. The open door represents transition, or an opening to Self-discovery. Night time represents the unconscious, unknown, unawareness. The full moon represents the unconscious and/or emotional energies. The lake represents the unconscious and/or emotional energies. The deep, vibrating noise that keeps getting louder represents energy that is emerging from deep within, from your unconscious depths, nearing awareness. The ceiling caving in represents the destruction of, or change in, old thoughts/ideas. The hallway destroyed represents the end of a particular path, destruction of an old way. The giant sphere with oscillating rings spinning round represents that energy which is emerging from within, an active, high frequency energy that is producing, or will produce, change in your life, a change in your perception, in some way. See what I mean about the repetition? What do you think it all means? Or perhaps more importantly, what do you feel it means? Are you undergoing a change in your inner life? I see what you mean about all the repetition going on throughout the dream. Yes i am going through a change in my inner life - i've noticed my spiritual awareness has been getting stronger alot lately, it makes me a bit scared at times though and i kinda felt that maybe i had that dream to reinforce to me that there's nothing to be afraid of perhaps? (with looking all peaceful & stuff)...on another note i also recently have been given the opportunity to put a proposal forth to have my Art exhibited in a Museum, the idea excites me yet terrifies me at the same time because i tend to have fears that no one will like my work. So what you write about "change in old thoughts, ideas" could be telling me that i need to let those fears go to move forward?. IP: Logged
