I was swimming in a sea. The weather was grey, and so was the sea. Kind of like any English beach really! I think I was with my family. I got separated from them as the current dragged me out. I was so scared! I know water symbolises emotions, but what about the tide? being pulled and such? I have sort of an idea, but if someone could shed any more light, that'd be great. Its harder interpreting your own dreams somehow...maybe all that subjectivity, idk. Anyways, thanks IP: Logged |

Just guessing here...There may be a situation where you need to go through on your own without the help of even your family, who may have been your last layer of safety net. There is often a phrase that goes something like 'you are pulled into the deep water, only to emerge cleansed'. The grey weather may indicate a sombre mood - an impending storm. I am guessing this is a self transformation process that you need to do alone, similar to 'dark night of the soul'. IP: Logged |

Hello FruityLlama Often, your family represents your center, that which grounds you. Perhaps "grey" emotions are separating you from your center, dragging you from a secure, stable, grounded place. IP: Logged |

Hello! Yes, I feel like they (grey emotions) are disconnecting me somewhat. I always find though that issues that come up in dreams don't FEEL like much of a big deal, but theyre exaggerated in dreams. Like, I haven't noticed these feelings that much until dreams tell me! But yes, that interp. does make sense- thank you IP: Logged |
