I get them from time to time. Not really often but every few months I have a dream that I'm naked in public.
I had one last night... I was on a bus or something. I don't remember exactly. Usually, myself and those around me don't seem to pay any attention whatsoever to the fact that I'm nude. Last night though I don't recall it well, everyone else was clothed. I remember one where I was at work and they were all nude also... In that dream. But I just have these generally and usually it's not given a second thought in the dream that I'm nude. I think the work one I felt.. Shy, but everyone else was naked too so I just rolled with it. Just wondering what nude dreams are even about...? IP: Logged |

Was just thinking the other day how confining clothes are.So nice here alone to go as I wish. Then I was thinking about Nudist Colonies, but then I thought it would probably degenerate. Oh, well, here's to the comfort of living alone! IP: Logged |

What were you thinking? There's only three reasons that I get naked in real life. lol Otherwise I don't like it. I mean... What if you spill something hot? Or drop your fork? Idk... I feel protected in a strange way. The dream...
I think it means something about being emotionally or psychologically exposed. But, I'm not worried about it. I have no worries about what people see or know. Yet, am aware that it's not natural for most. Or something like that... Not sure. IP: Logged |

I've always heard that naked dreams represent fear of exposure. There may be something you're keeping hidden or some private feelings or emotions you are afraid of others knowing. Sometimes, it can indicate that there is something your subconscious mind is repressing that your conscious mind is afraid of facing. Your subconscious mind may be afraid of feeling "naked" and "exposed". Oops. I just reread your post and realized you'd already said pretty much the same thing. So, I'll just ditto what you said.  One other thought. Maybe since other people aren't noticing when you're naked in the dream, it might mean you think you're attractive and you wish other people would notice it more. Just an off the wall thought, but it came to mind.

Yes, the most common meaning for being naked is about feeling exposed or vulnerable in some way. It can also indicate a comfort with self, or confidence, unconcerned with how others perceive you or what they think.Conversely however, if in the dream there is no self-consciousness, shyness, or embarrassment, it could be a message that your personality is overbearing, that you may be barring too much of yourself, or are overconfident. Being naked can also be an expression of voyeuristic energies. It could even reflect a need to bare yourself, to "bare your soul", to reveal some truth.  IP: Logged |
