I usually don't remember my dreams but I have noticed one type of dream that seems to repeat. I think I usually remember it because I wake up a little afraid afterward.It usually involves coming to a door or doorway that I can't see into. I sense ghosts, monsters or just general "badness" behind the door and I am afraid to open it or that whatever is behind it will come out after me. Usually there are sounds behind the door. Last night I dreamed I was in my old house. It has three stories. I was alone and I heard noises coming from the third floor and was scared. As I walked up to the door I woke up which is typical. A few weeks ago, I had a similar dream. Same house, involved the third floor again but what was behind the door was just my beloved Grandmother who past away 15 years ago. Any ideas what my mind is trying to work out here? IP: Logged |

Hello KarmicMoon  Since this is a recurring theme, these types of dreams likely occur when you are experiencing some kind of stress or anxiety. It could be suggested that the cause of the anxiety lies within your unconscious, hidden (closed door), likely rooted in your past (ghosts, etc.). This energy makes it difficult for you to make necessary transitions, to move past certain obstacles in waking life. Does this make any sense?  IP: Logged |
