I was holding a plant that looked like an animal. It had tentacles. I turned it up to drink the water from inside the middle of it. It was a glass full amount. I was hoping it wasn't poisonous (not deadly but maybe that it would make me sick). But it seemed fine. IP: Logged |

Reminds me of last night when I was watering my fern.It was sitting in my bathroom sink, and my Daughter could see it from the hall as she passed. She asked me if I had named her Cleopatra, like the one I had up in the mountains. (I don't know if you are familiar with Morticia's plant, in Addams Family?) I laughed and told her no. Lifted it dripping, and hung it from the curtain rod, in her accustomed place above the bath. Sink and bath are both soft blue. Tiles white with soft blue clouds. Shower curtain resembles this slightly, but with netting:  Many times I will see dreams here that have some relevance to my existence. At least I used to, when I read it more. Poured water from a large pink ewer with a rose. This is it; almost exactly, except it's painted with another flower, a Pink Rose. Mine's wider at the base; more symmetrical, or aesthetically pleasing. Don't know that this had anything to do with your dream, but thought I would give details, just in case.  IP: Logged |

Beginner here.
2things.
1) you're in some situation or relationship that you think will bring spiritual contentment but you have inner fears that its too cloying and you won't be able to handle it, being fine drinking the water means irl the fears are not as bad as they seemed, they're not 100% substantiated, but somewhere they still reside and they need to be looked at more closely so you can get to the root of them
2) you're trying to grow spiritually, seeking avenues for it, but something inside that you have trouble facing makes you hesitant about how far you can take that growth, or someone is making you second guess yourself, again the water is fine so you're able to make that journey by paying attention to your own wants and needs, not something or someone outside of yourself.Hmm could be one of the above or some kind of mix there. Or something else completely Either way seems you're hungry for growth, but have subconscious , or conscious, fears that something is in its way. The answer,drinking the water, your bet bet is to seek guidance from within. <<beginner pov IP: Logged |

Hello Randall Those are good thoughts, Lonake, and you could be spot on. I get the feeling though, that this dream may be a reflection of a more earthly, mundane issue. Or maybe it is some sort of mix, like you said. This dream could be a reflection concerning the growth of (plant) and possible entanglement in (tentacles) unconscious or emotional energies (water) which you have consciously chosen to incorporate or decided to partake in (drink), uncertain of the consequences (hoping not poisonous). Hopefully, as in the dream, you will not be adversely affected. Can you pin a recent issue on that?  IP: Logged |

Yes I too think that this is an earthly issue. Plant denotes fixity and animal kind of plant is our rooted animal instincts. Tentacles are something that will hold on to us - cluch us. So something you want, better still desire, but are not sure whether you should go for it. Then you do because you so instinctively (animal) want to and are however doubtful whether it is really good for you. So here your basic instincts are getting the better of you and your mind is sceptical. The end result is not that bad (again mind, weighing things/justification). Take an objective look, away from your body and mind. Turn within and rest in yourself. Your spirit will guide you.IP: Logged |
