hello,
i've had two dreams involving a beige tarantula in my lifetime. one of them was on November 3rd, 2012; and the other was this morning. in the first one, my cat ate it, and i screamed as i watched him. my cat is my protector in real life. then, my mom came to my room to scold me for making noise. when i told her about the spider, she informed me that there were "clickers of tarantulas in the air vents." in the second dream, i notice the tarantula and it starts doing flips and i'm laughing at it, but not scared. my mom is present again. we are both laughing at it, and then it starts quickly running towards me. i shriek and get out of the way, and it turns into a huge rat and runs under the couch. my mom tells me that my cat will play with it.
any insight on beige tarantulas??

Read this as an opinion please:
In my opinion your tarantula is the "bad" side of your mom. The cat is your protector. The good side of your mom is represented by mom.IP: Logged |

I have dreams about spiders quite often. A spider weaves webs and has eight legs. It could represent anything from the interent, as a search engine is nothign but a web crawler, or the feminine/insect aspect of the psyche/soul.I like to think of spider dreams as our subconcious strength. Our minds are like spiders. For example, memories are one leg of our minds, so is logic, intuition, etc... Wow, as I type this too you I'm getting all sorts of insights! Cheers. IP: Logged |

i think you are onto something. my mom has two very different sides.. we just had a yelling match recently. my cat is really my protector. but that's a different story. it just freaked me out that this tarantula showed up again. it was very sinister and not fuzzy bur about twice the size of my hand. also, it didn't have a face. *shudder* IP: Logged |

Hello Selenite I agree with GeminiKarat and Alex. This beige tarantula could be what is called a "devouring mother" symbol, representing negative maternal energies/aspects. This type of dream may appear when you are having a particularly difficult time with your mother, when you feel like she is overbearing, uncompassionate, uncaring, or trying to "ensnare" you.
