Hi!Having a Good Day or Night? I hope so! ======================== Well, as you may know... seeing words, letters or even quotes while dreaming is somehow common. And here on LL, I'd say even more. When I was 15 I started to have this kind of dreams, full of letters that do not even belong to my native language. Some of them are from the Greek Alphabet, others I don't even know what they are so, I can't find them in google. The worst thing is that these letters do not form any word so, most of times they don't have ANY meaning. Very annoying . I've seen this letters in: -Pile of stones -Foreheads -In the bandages of a living-rotten mummy dog. (yes, go figure) -In feet of pale people -Etc But this one WINS THE PRICE! weirdest dream I ever had ================================ Ok, 3 days ago, I had this dream: I was wearing a violet dress while playing a harp, I was doing this in the middle of a huge empty room made of... marble? The walls were the highest walls you can imagine so, I rised my head to look at the roof; but there was no roof at all, the marble walls were unbeliavable high. Then a snake came down from a wall, but it wasn't a normal snake, it was a Bone-Snake. It was huge! I mean... like 20m or more and it raised its head in front of me, so its head was 3-4 meters above mine. Strangely, I continued playing the harp in calm and the snake started to fool around the room. Then I could see that there were letters written in the bones of its body. I knew I was going to wake up, (I bet you know that feeling) so I took paper and an empty card lol. Who keeps a card and a pencil under her dress anyway? Dreams... *sigh* I remember I wrote the whole thing. It said something like: Η νίκη ική bαl Again the Greek Alphabet or sort of, but it has no meaning at all. I put the small card in a pocket(?) of my violet dress. Then I woke up or started to. I was half asleep with my hand inside of a little pocket that my pajama has. There was a card inside, I immediately tought: I finally made it! Yay!!... LOL! But it was just my ID card of the place where I work as a fitness instructor lol I don't even know how did it get there. And NO, I don't know how to play the Harp. ============================ So, what do you think this dream might mean? I have my personal... theory ~ Have a Good Day! ------------------ ~Il n'est rien de réel que le rêve et l'amour~

If you know the English representation of the greek characters, you may be able to anagram or lexigram them?Things are never what they seem in dreams. So we can't tackle dream with the same rational intellect we use in daily life. Often we have to scramble dreams in waking life for them to make sense, as we are using the conscious mind which tries to fit symbols into rational patterns - it doesn't work. We have to dig much deeper in the mind, and not be afraid of the distortions. We have to effectively stand on our heads once awake, to understand the symbols of the dream. IP: Logged |

Hi!Thanks for your kind response. In fact, that's exactly how I see this kind of dream. Even when I was younger, I never gave them a 'cotidian' meaning. I think they are totally symbolic ------------------ ~Il n'est rien de réel que le rêve et l'amour~ IP: Logged |

Only an opinion: That is a typical dream of an angel and how the angel deals with the dark side. I do see the person with the harp as an old soul. Otherwise the snake would not try those old languages.I am interested in the symbols that you can not find on google. Is there any chance that I can see them? IP: Logged |

^ Oh, thanks for your input. I haven't thought about it until you mentioned it. But to be honest, I don't think I'm an angel or kind of, because simply I can't be hehe! quote: Originally posted by GeminiKarat: I am interested in the symbols that you can not find on google. Only if you can get into my mind, my Gemini friend But they were very serpent-like. Have you seen Tamil inscriptions or Aramaic writings? Some of the letters I see in this kind of Dream are very alike. ========================== I have to mention that the intensity of these dreams got stronger after trying Homeopathy. So, I definitely feel better than ever in a normal day, but when I have these dreams I got up very tired. (?) I find it... bizarre. ------------------ ~Il n'est rien de réel que le rêve et l'amour~ IP: Logged |

Hello GemBird This is very interesting. I have a couple of ideas, but I'll have to devote some time to bring them together on paper. There are some curious connections between the dream symbols and the text symbols. I'll be back as soon as I can with some thoughts. One question though … do you have an affinity for ancient Greek culture or mythology? IP: Logged |

Hello Ra.So, you are going to give me some feedback too? That's very kind of you. Thank you quote: Originally posted by Ra: do you have an affinity for ancient Greek culture or mythology?
No, that's the strange part of this puzzle. I think the main affinity I have is the interest in some stars(?), that's how I got into Astrology.Rigel(beta orionis) rigth foot of Osiris, Bellatrix(gamma) Left shoulder of Osiris, Betelgeuse(alpha)Right shoulder, Sirius(Canis) Isis-Star and many of the Egyptian asteroids. I'm always on the Asteroid forum writing about Amenhotep IV aka Akhenaten and his strange monotheism (Aten) lol. A bit of Lexxigramming. Fitness instructor. Well that's pretty much everything about my affinities. ~ Thank you again. ------------------ ~Il n'est rien de réel que le rêve et l'amour~ IP: Logged |

I am always interested in old languages . Voix_de_la_Mer has a very good opinion and I will come back next week to read Ra´s point of few. I will simply give you some symbols out of the blue that go with my angel theory. I wish you all the best. IP: Logged |

^ Wow, Gemini mate! you have very interesting info there. Thank you! Sadly, none of those symbols are like the ones I saw, but I'll keep them in mind if I ever see something alike in a dream. Oh, and I forgot to say that I'm not an anxious person, I read somewhere Ra is on vacation. I can wait endessly and patiently, there's no problem for me at all. Just relax! (Just wanted to let you know). ------------------ ~Il n'est rien de réel que le rêve et l'amour~ IP: Logged |

Here is what I think. You had a past life in Delphi and played heavily music. You were wearing a violet dress because violet is the color of transmutation and purification. Time to remember who you are! IP: Logged |

Yes, very busy. Definitely not on vacation. In short, I am of the same thought as athenegoddess ... past life stuff. I'll post about the dream symbols as soon as I can. There is nothing mind blowing or ultra-revealing to say about them, just observation as to possible connections. IP: Logged |

Here are some of the symbols …Violet can symbolize intuition, purification, nobility. Marble, of course, was heavily used by the Greeks. A harp can symbolize harmony, especially as regards your spiritual self. The harp was important in Greek society and mythology, having the power to animate the inanimate and to tame wild animals, much like your bone-snake. Bones reflect the past. Vertebrae were often used in fortune-telling/divination, and so associated with higher wisdom or knowledge from "beyond". Snakes can represent life energy, wisdom, renewal/resurrected energies, among other things. The bone-snake coming down from the wall could suggest past energies entering your consciousness from "outside" your normal parameters. The Greek letters written upon the bones of the snake could represent a message/information from your past or unconscious, trying to get through. It just seems to me like these symbols all kind of work together to suggest that information concerning a past life in ancient Greece is trying to work its way out of your unconscious for some reason. I don't know, but it is an interesting dream, and these letters/symbols that you keep seeing are interesting indeed.

^ Thanks for your dedication Ra! I see everything more clearly now, thank you. quote: Originally posted by Ra: Vertebrae were often used in fortune-telling/divination, and so associated with higher wisdom or knowledge from "beyond".
Very interesting. Because I had another dream some days ago and it had a lot of vertebra(s) but I think it's not necessary to write a huge text wall. I really don't know about... this... but maybe in most of cases 'highly symbolic' ≠ relevance. Hmmm... ... quote: Originally posted by athenegoddess: You had a past life in Delphi and played heavily music.
Hi Athene! Oh, this is going to sound a bit embarrassing, but I don't know what a Delphi is. I google'd it and it's not a Fixed Star... and I don't think it's a programming language lol. But it sounds just like Dolphin quote: Originally posted by ilunatique: Hi Gembird!) After I read about your dream I had the impulse to immediately jump on a particular book.
LUNA! Hi! Wow!,where do you come up with such amazing books? Let me tell you that I'm 80-90% sure that I saw 3 of those letters in my dream. From your 3rd image. They are: 5. He 8. Heth 22. Thau Those 3 are quite alike, don't you think? Also 6th and 20th letters. 6. Vau 20. Resch I'm very intrigued. Is that language hebrew, tamil? ========================================== In your 2nd pic. None of those words were present in my dream. Except by 1. But I'm just 40-50% sure about that, (lol sometimes I get very 'numerical', but it's just my way to describe things...) - It's: Elohim I find this totally intriguing and even funny, because Elohim is not a singular word, but a Plural one. 1st pic. I have no idea about the meaning of that circle, but it gives me a cyclic feeling. Wow, what can I say? Thank you Luna! - I think it's time for me to re-draw a couple of 'things'. ------------------ ~Il n'est rien de réel que le rêve et l'amour~ IP: Logged |
