Hi. I have two dreams in one. In the first i was at the dorms of a university. I was supposed to go into an apartment of five girls (including me) on the third floor, but have decided to go into a fifth floor apartment with only one more roomate. Afterwards, i regreted the subject i have taken. In reality i wanted to study psychology but then changed to literature. In the last few years i regreted not studying psychology. In the dream i study one of these subjects and decides to replace one with the other, but i don't remember which one i was studying and to what subject i was moving. Then, after i changed my mind, i wanted to come back to the third floor apartment, but someone cut the stairs and there was a wall instead of stairs. Some people came and tried figuring out how to help me. Meanwhile, i found a pillar and i slipped down on it right to the third floor. I then went to the apartment i wanted, and five happy girls were getting inside it, no room for me. The second dream inside the dream: I was at the house we had when i was a teen, in my room, in my bed, putting my face against the wall. I then found inside the bed broken pieces of a glass. I collected them all inside a bag and went with it to a magician, who was upset with me for not wearing my amulet, so i went back for my amulet (in reality i have no amulet).

What do you think? I will appreciate any interpretation.

I think the first dream would be about you regretting that you made the wrong decision.
I think that you obviously tried to change your plans but by that time the opportunity had already passed you by.So this would maybe be your mind trying to tell you its time to move on and to make new plans for the future.

I think the second dream may be suggesting that something from your past is bothering you since it happened in your old room and you were putting your head against the wall.Perhaps the broken pieces of glass represent a part of yourself that was damaged and you are going to the magician for him to help you to put yourself back together again.Where the pieces from a mirror? If so the mirror could also represent a part of you.Perhaps It could be hinting that you will have bad luck.I also wonder if the broken glass could be a sign that there may be some sort spiritual problem or curse. You also mentioned an amulet which makes me think you were wearing it for protection.I assume the magician was protecting you from danger.

I hope the theories on the second dream weren't to crazy since I'm not very good at interpreting dreams.

Please read it as an opinion:
5 girls – 3rd floor –psychology - fun
2 girls- 5th floor – literature

You wanted to study psychology. With the support of other people you found an easy way (=pillow) to study psychology. Unfortunately in your dream there is no room in the 3rd floor for you anymore. The origin is in the second dream of your dream. If you wear an amulet in a dream, you will make the right decision. You did not wear the amulet and did surrender to the wall and your dream (=glass) has broken a part within yourself.

Do you study psychology? It seems that you have a gift for it.

Thank you so much Panthera Leo and GeminiKarat! I do feel i have made a mistake. But the opportunity is gone. Does it mean i have to go back to the second floor? I wonder. I do have to make new plans. GK, you may be right about the placements of the floors in relation with my study's choices.

Panthera, i may have some spiritual problem, and it is not such a far off interpretation. The pieces in my bed were of a glass (for drinking) and not those of a mirror. Does a broken glass mean sorrow? Perhaps. Or it is a part of myself that was damaged, or both. The magician is angry with me. Perhaps it is my own anger for choosing wrong. But this is where i am now and i have to move forward. Yes, it's a thing of the past... but it is still very relevant in my life.
Thank you both. And GEminiKarat, i studied one year of psychology long ago. I wanted to switch universities but then i went off the road. It is a subject close to my heart, yes.

By the way, how does one quote more than one reply in a post?

I think you have to quote each reply separately.

When you mentioned the broken drinking glass it made me think of wine glasses. It made me think about two people having a romantic meal together. Is it possible that angry ex lover got a hold of a glass that you had drank out of and smashed it and sprinkled it all over your bed.Maybe in their mind it would be like them leaving you a little present or if they had bad intentions towards you it could be a warning.I was thinking about what you had said and a thought crossed my mind what if your spiritual problem was related to the magician who was an angry ex who had used a drinking glass which you had drank from as a tool against you as part of a bad spell.

I would usually associate broken glass with sorrow and negative meanings.
I do think that both meanings would probably apply to you though.

Hello Panthera. My ex lover is too far away, and i don't drink wine, not even at a romantic occasion. I don't think the magician is an angry ex lover. He is a positive person in the dream, one which tries to help. And even if someone was to put a bad spell on me like this, why did i dream about my teen's bed?
I have a spiritual problem, but i believe it's of a different nature. Thank you for writing me and trying to assist.

I still don't understand how to quote more than one reply in a post. Whenever i quote, i am opening a window of reply and i don't know how to come back to the thread and quote another reply without losing my window.

That's good to hear that your not experiencing anything to dark like what my over active imagination was thinking about. That's a good point you made about it being the bed you had as a teenager I guess didn't think that through.Although I do suppose there are some exceptions of sick people in this world who would work bad mojo like that in order to give others bad dreams who don't have to have any method in their madness. You are right though my ideas where slighty absurd.

What I was trying to say is I don't think there is a a way to quote more than one reply in a post.Although you could quote one reply and then make sure you open a new tab and you could copy and paste the rest .

Hi Panthera. The ideas weren't absurd but simply didn't fit in this case, i guess.
There is a way. I've seen others doing it...

In your dream you made the decision to study psychology. The magician brought you an amulet (=right decision) and was upset, that you did not wear it. I wonder what you would discuss with the girl if you wear the amulet. You know the one, who occupied your room in the apartment (=psychology)? I guess it is the only reason left.

I do not know how old you are, but my mother was around 52 years old when she studied psychology. Other people that I do know study part time to realize their dream. It takes them longer, but the passion brings them a smile into their face and a lot of energy.

I wish you all the best on your way to the right decision.

@ Panther Leo

I wanted to answer your dream about Scotland. On this day I dreamt about Scotland and I do not want to dream or think about it anymore. I thought it would be a good idea to watch the news and do not think about it anymore. On this day they did talk about the independency of Scotland on the news. So I thought it would be a good idea to go on the homepage of LL and do some interpretation of dreams. I saw your dream about Scotland and I ended up jumping around like a little dwarf yelling: NO!NO!NO! I can be very childish sometimes.

You came to the right conclusion anyway.
