Topic: Weird dream - dead bodies, cars, and feet

The portion of the dream I remember is knowing someone had died "yesterday" and my two best friends and me were visiting someone and after we left, they also died. I never saw the person's face though but I remember we were looking at the body in front of his house: he was face down, wearing a plaid shirt and jeans, and had blonde hair with a ponytail. His left foot was cut off but it wasn't a murder scene. Police officials were there though. I remember his initials were R (first name, had one but I forgot it) and the last name was Reid. Have no idea who that is representing in real life...Next I remember driving the car and seeing this big loop (like a rollercoaster) representing the highway. I tried to drive through it (as in take the loop which would mean defying gravity with my car, lol) but as predicted when we got to the highest point of the loop my car started falling down as though from the sky. We landed okay I guess, I don't remember a crash. Then my two friends and I ended up at a shop that looked like the Cracker Barrel gift store and there was a chalkboard announcing the death of this Reid guy. We were also telling the store clerk he died too. So altogether three people had died (one per day) but I don't know who the first and third one was. Oh, and all of this occurred in the daytime and it was very sunny out.
________________________ I looked up dream symbols for a few of the things and it said if you see a stranger die in your dream that you're feeling detached from the changes going on around you, and that blonde hair represents awareness of yourself or someone else thinking a certain way. Hello hannaramaa Death can symbolize an ending, change, or transformation. Perhaps not coincidentally, three can indicate the process or action of change. I like what you found out … do you feel detached from changes going on around you? Is there something about yourself, or within your life, that is in the midst of change? An aspect of self, a relationship, or relationship with friends? Is something in your life's path throwing you for a loop?  IP: Logged |

I forgot about this thread - but yeah. There've been three guys I was interested in this year and none of them worked out. Similarly I really only had a shot with two of them and I've been saying to myself "third time's the charm" for whoever I date next. I also cut off three people. And I should care, and while I nursed a nice little grudge towards them, I really have no desire to work for the friendship or do anything. I should be more ambitious in my life but I've rationalized and decided to do my best where I am now and take it one day at a time, so maybe not completely detached but feeling very ho-hum and complacent.
