Dream 1: As we were walking to a restaurant, he was holding me tight. We were clearly a bit older (mid-thirties I'd say). We were all lovey-dovey until I decided to walk out on him.

Dream 2: We met and kissed at a train station. Again, we were a bit older in this dream.

Dream 3: We were about 15. Again, we were high school sweethearts and in love. He was hugging me the entire time. I decided to let him go and walked away.

Dream 4: We were supposed to get married then I never showed up at the wedding and left him waiting at the alter.

In each and every single dream, we're significantly older or younger, and I'm always the one walking out on him. In real life, he's the one who let me go.

In each and every single dream, he's the one holding me tight/hugging me.

I'm very much confused. What could these repetitive dreams mean?

It is certainly possible that there are past life connections and a karmic flow between you. You left him, he leaves you. The dream could reflect that.

From a more here-and-now perspective, the dreams could suggest that there is unfinished emotional business, at least for you. This could be your psyche's way of exploring the hurt and kind of evening the score, thus making an attempt at emotional balance.

Of course, it could also be a combination of these possibilities. Your last post says more about your connection with him, so perhaps a combination is more likely.
