The first one happened on Tuesday morning, I couldn't get myself awake and kept slipping back to sleep and continuing the same dream. I dreamt I was standing at a train platform and there were other people. There was a guy standing next to me trying to make small talk. My ex was standing a far distance away and we kept staring at each other. Next thing I remember in the dream was that he and I were cuddled up in my bed in my current place of residence talking. He asked if I liked the guy and I said no, that I didn't even know who he was. It was apparent during that part of the dream that we were back together as we expressed affection toward one another, stating being happy to be back together.

The second dream happened last night/ this morning. I dreamt that it was night time and I was walking (I think) to the supermarket near his house with my current SO. My ex stood outside of the house he still lives in (where I used to reside as well) just watching me and saying nothing, wearing a green hoodie that he actually owns in real life.

In the first dream I didn't even know he was at the train station. I was trying to not really talk to the guy who was trying to make conversation with me, which is why I was looking around when I spotted him.

It may be a subconscious wish fulfillment, I have no idea though. I talked to my dad about it and he thinks my ex is trying to contact me through dreams. I told my dad it couldn't be the case because if he really wanted to contact me he could just call me. My father said he may not have the courage (?) in him to call me.

Another interesting thing is this: when I moved from the house we shared, I left behind a particular pair of heels because I just plain forgot about them. They were sitting in the lazy susan cabinet we didn't utilize in a bag with cat litter in it to rid them of the smell of cat pee. I was at the Goodwill on Monday, our song came on my Pandora station and I found the heels there. I knew they were mine because of the size, brand, style and because there was cat litter dust inside of them!
