In my dream, obviously. I don't remember many details about the dream, all I know is that we were after some hard surgery or after a long day and I was tired, I was laying on a couch and he approached me slowly, caressing my hair and he kissed my lips! Even in my dream I tried to pull back in shock, but for some reason when the alarm went off, I didn't want to wake up!  Back story is like this: he and I have had a difficult 6 year (strictly professional) relationship. However, I know personal and intimate things about him that I wish I didn't know. We have fought like crazy over the years (I gave him attitude  ) and he has threatened me over and over that he will ban me from his service, however after I passed my specialist exam he told me how much he appreciated me, offered me two jobs (one at his private clinic) so we are now basically spending roughly 12 hours per day together, sometimes more because we have worked a lot lately. There has never been and never will be any hint of any romantic activity on any side of the rainbow. However, it simply RUINED my day today because I could not stop thinking about it! After work today he leaned over to kiss my cheek and wish me things for the New year and I turned stiff remembering the dream. This totally needs to stop! Dear subconscious, get a friggin grip!!! ------------------

 You must be really fond of him... and apparently he likes you too, Otherwise, he wouldn't have come to you in the dream like this. I mean, it may have been only you, but he took you by surprise, which thing tells me, at least, that the gesture came from him...IP: Logged |

Awkward!!! Has he kissed you on the cheek before? I think it was a prophetic dream. Are you sure he wasn't trying to make a pass at you?I had a dream like this once about my ex's brother. I was deeply disturbed because I was turned on by the dream, but I was not attracted to him. The next day we were watching tv and I could feel him staring at me. When I looked at him he leaned in to kiss me. I was completely freaked out, and to this day I cannot believe he thought I would go along with that. I was extremely insulted! IP: Logged |

It may be that you weren't conscious of how much you like him until that dream, where his kiss took you by surprise. Your emotion toward him surprised you. This may be another interpretion.IP: Logged |

Ugh, there's nothing romantic or sexual going on. *horrified face*
He's like 14 years older, married, and his mistress works with us. I think it may be because of our reconciliation, maybe.. I like it that we're on better terms now. There's also the thing about my father that I think is related to this.. Because of my issues with him, I have had a problem with authority and fought with my boss a lot. Now that I made peace with my father, relationships with men seem to have taken a turn also. My boss and I are getting along and I am no longer opposed to dating older men, there have been a few in the picture lately. But obviously NOT my boss. I definitely do not want to think of him in those terms at all. The kiss on the cheek is a cultural thing, we do that a lot, he does it with everyone on bdays, holidays etc. We all do it, it's meaningless. However, I still froze when it happened because I remembered the closeness in the dream. ------------------

Yes, I guess that might be true.. I sometimes do want a relationship and I guess I have thought I would like someone like him. But obviously, not him. He is emotionally abusive, hell no, not him. ------------------
