I was wondering if anyone can interpret my dream about a vampire guy named Vesta. I know so far from googling, Vesta is an asteroid and the "great attractor". As for him being a vampire I went to dreammoods and it says vampires means I might be drawn to someone who is harmful to me, or I'm doing something that is draining. I might have already interpreted my own dream from typing this post but I want to see others' views on it as well. My Vesta is in 12 degrees Taurus by the way. And I'm currently a graphic design student and it's a lot of work and I almost have no time for anything besides my job. I'm not talking to anyone but I have taken a minor crush a guy whom I never talk to and in the same program.IP: Logged |

First of all I want to say that I like your username. Is that English? Please read it as an opinion: A vampire in a dream can be a symbol that fear takes away energy and life. Vesta can stand for the inner fire of a person/relationship. A vampire named Vesta can go into both directions. a) A person that sucks (=vampire) the rest of your fire (=vesta) out of you. b) A magnetic and powerful person (=vampire) that you can share some tantric (=vesta) experience.

Thank you GeminiKarat. It's not English, but German. I got it from a movie I happened to watch at work. Really love the word. It means empathy but much more to it.

Hello Einfuhlung Welcome to LindaLand and the Astral Realms. I agree. A vampire generally represents something draining you, which could be your work. Being drawn to someone harmful or draining could make sense, especially considering "Vesta" as the "great attractor". "Vampire Vesta" is a very interesting combination. I know little of astrology, so if there is any other significance to Vesta, I couldn't say. There are other possible meanings for a vampire, but there is little context to go on from your dream description to form a solid opinion. Can you tell us more about the dream? How did you feel? You are welcome. I thought that it is a different language. It is a beautiful word. As Ra said, you are always welcomed to share more details of your dream, if you want to. I wish you all the best! IP: Logged |

Thanks Gemini And Ra, I somehow seemed to be in a relationship with him but I didn't feel drained. He had a lot of issues with his "vampire brethren's". I think at one point we were at a beach but I don't remember what we did there. And we kissed and was close doing the dirty but he seemed surprised at me showing him affection and wanted to stop. I think I've tried helping him with his issues but couldn't succeed in it. I felt sad that I couldn't help him. I hope this information would help find out more about this dream. And thank you for the welcome! IP: Logged |

Well, then, it doesn't seem that the most negative of "vampire" meanings applies here, and it seems more like the "draining attraction" meaning may be more appropriate.Do you think it is about the guy you are attracted to?

I don't really think so. The guy I'm attracted to right now doesn't drain me at all because I never talk to him. Maybe it has to do with my ex? When I think I him I get emotional pain and it's been going on for so long that I just want it to be over. Or maybe it was foretelling the future. Recently I've been feeling so drained because of "Mother Nature"--that time of the month women get. And that makes a lot of sense because, you know, vampires and their unique dietary needs.
