I had a weird dream last night which inspired me to look in this forum again and I was struck by how many have been dreaming of lions, cheetahs, and tigers lately!

In mine the tiger was nervous and I was trying to make the tiger feel better. I felt no fear for the tiger, only concern and treated her like a house cat, I even drove with her in the car (technically I don't have a car and only rarely dream of driving--I'm usually on bike or skateboard when I do travel with wheels under me, that and trains for some reason).

In the driving I was trying to evade some people who wanted to steal my strength and enslave the tiger but I don't remember who they were...not anyone I know in real life (at least not in the dream they weren't, they were more like stock villains driven by purely mercenary gain). I was more wary than afraid though at one point in the driving up a mountain the road got too narrow and I got out until even walking wasn't an option...there was a beach way down below and it looked like there were plenty of cement breakers that I could climb down easily enough though when I tried it they were all loose which scared me (it was a long way down) and I quickly climbed back up and turned the car around.

Interesting enough I was also evading people in a hospital by switching elevators and going up or down a lot.

And very strange was when I saw 3 men attack another man I know so that my best friend (one who rode the back of a dragon with me in my dragon dream as we rode to the moon while another dragon pursued us, and she's very mystical and not the least bit violent, though she's not shocked by violence) was there with her hair much longer than I think it's ever been in her life and colored violet the way it used to be, and though she would consider what I did foolish she encouraged me as I jumped into the fight against 3 men and a woman who were attacking my male friend. And though it was a regular brawl they were messed up after as if I'd beat them with bats (and I didn't recall doing that damage to them and was surprised to see them like that as they accused me to security). (For what it's worth I'm female, I expect such brawling in a dream means something different for females than males similar to dreams of wearing a red dress & heels while carrying a purse would be. )

The only thing I can think of on what this means is that I've been struggling with some long term bitterness and even hatred against someone and to work through it I've been exploring those feelings and giving myself permission to feel them as just trying to fight them is fighting a riptide...sometimes it's best to go with the riptide until its strength is lessened and then one can escape it. Perhaps that, and the violent fantasies that come with it (which are intense), has caused me concern about my ability to control it (the damage I caused that I didn't mean to, the nervous tiger, the thugs after me for merc gains--that is, base desires for immediate gratification--using my strength and violence and also the tiger) whereas my mystical best friend and the climb down to the ocean represents my subconscious (in the latter case more of the fears I have regarding these feelings, that I might lose control to them and become overwhelmed).

Though the strangest and most inexplicable part was the very end...I was in an elevator again going up and it was made of glass and I saw so many erotic scenes that aroused me, which is very unusual for me...I'd say it was an actual erotic dream (as opposed to erotic symbols that aren't actually erotic when examined) though when I woke up I felt zero arousal (though my body showed physical signs of arousal). But please don't mistake that for suppressed sexual desires, if you knew me you wouldn't. Though I suppose it could tie in to the fear that not only might I become overwhelmed by my hatred and commit gross acts of violence, but that I might actually LIKE it, or possibly just the rawness of the feelings, something so primal...(sex, violence, and pain are linked a lot more than many feel comfortable thinking about).

But the main thing that haunts me in the dream is the tiger with me which I was so protective of and had no fear of. It's odd remembering such a huge killing machine with me, even her head next to mine (body in back seat) as we were in a car (one that would be too small for a real tiger) together. And I find it curious that others are dreaming of big cats, too!

I guess there is a lot of fire in the air because of the transits and it can trigger the chart on a very individual base.

Please read it as an opinion:
The tiger in a dream describes, like other predators also, the overpowering impulsive in us, like the bull. However he behaves less sensibly, rather consciously specifically. He can also mean the longing for powerful love. If the dreamer drives in a dream a car, this calls the personal impulse in the consciousness. This dream indicates that the overpowering impulsive (=tiger) is guided by the dreamer (=driving the car).

The tiger as my impulsive and animalistic nature that I'm in control of (but worried of losing control) does make sense.

As soon as it makes sense you have a connection.

I wish you all the best!
