Last night, I dreamt about going to a community ball where everyone was invited and guests themselves served other guests, not servers. I was wearing a gold party dress and was one of the hostesses at the party. The surroundings were golden--from the chandeliers to the drapes to the plates. Everyone I knew from my past was there, which really surprised me--from friends, to classmates, to relatives, to rivals. My aunt from my dad's side was there talking to some of my old friends from my old high school. My past lover's new girlfriend was with her ex boyfriend. My aunt from my mom's side was sitting at one table with my cousins from my dad's side--which is weird because she hates my dad's family the most. My friend (A) from my old high school talked to me and congratulated me on the party. As one of the hostesses, I made sure I greeted and welcomed everyone and everyone was everybody from my past. I was very shocked, so I went outside the building and stared at my own refection on the glass window I was facing. Then a couple minutes later, the party was over. Nobody was there except me and I left. Then my grandma was talking about the party when I got home. What's your take on this dream, guys? IP: Logged |

Do you see life as one big party, at least right now? That is merely one suggestion. Another may be that you are celebrating a special point in your life, a transit point, and everyone from your past are there to celebrate your transition with you. When you see your reflection, the party is over. When you see yourself as the sum of your past, and what have become of you, it is all over. IP: Logged |

As a party, maybe not. But I do feel I have a lot coming for me that I'd wanna celebrate for, especially graduating and turning 18. And what do you mean when you say it's all over when I see my reflection? Is that a bad thing? :O Thanks for the suggestion.
