Recently I have noticed that over the past month or so my dreams have seemed to become more vivid.I find that the quality of colours and sound and imagery have gotten slightly better.

I still have quite a lot of violent dreams. For example I remember being attacked and slashing my attackers throat and watching the blood pour out of his throat. It is unusual for me to see this sort of thing in great detail.I may have experienced violent themes but I don't think things have ever been this realistic before. There have been other dreams in I remember fighting with guns and wands.

In another one I had I remember myself flying over somewhere in the countryside.I remember flying over people, buildings, roads, fields and hedges and trees and then I landed at some sort of festival.

In another dream I had remember lying naked in bed with this guy.I was cuddling him and performing oral sex on him.I remembering seeing his face in detail and everything else.Usually when I have a sex dream I usually don't get such great detail.

In another dream I think remember walking through water. The sky was a murky grey colour and I think it was getting dark.I remember seeing flashes of light and hearing rumbling sounds. Then I remember three men walking towards me.I remember one of the men seemed incredibly musclely and physically fit.I think they may have been soldiers.

I also remember talking to grandmother in one dream and she was saying how much she missed me not visiting her as often any more.In other dream I remember being in a public bathroom which all the cubicles were filthy.I remember overhearing someone talk about a person I knew who had been talking about me.

Anyway I'll get to the dream that I think might be important.I was walking through a carpark in the town I live in.For some strange reason I was with a female cousin who I don't get along with and some of her friends. We passed this shop. When I was walking by I noticed this blue painted skull which drew my attention. There where other skulls on shelves.I was standing near the step going into the shop when I noticed a statue of a women holding an ankh near the back of the shop. I'm pretty sure it was a statue of an Egyptian Goddess its just I didn't get a close enough view to identify which one it was.Since I have been having more vivid dreams lately and this dream started out as an ordinary dream I wonder is the statue of the Goddess supposed to be some sort of hint to me.I mean I think that its unusual that my eyes just happened to be drawn to a statue at the back of a shop that I could have easily missed.Another thing is I thought about what was the significance of the painted skull. Then I looked up painted skulls on the internet and discovered the painted skulls created to celebrate the day of the dead.

I also usually pay attention animals that appear in my dreams to.Recently in one dream I remember shooting at this big black wolf that charged at me with a machine gun.

In another dream I remember seeing this woman getting her hand and lower arm being ripped off by this gigantic animal that looked prehistoric.I think it was some sort of bear.I think there was another prehistoric animal which I think was a gigantic sloth trying to get out of the way.

Hi Panthera Leo. Many dreams. I think they are more vivid because you pay attention to them and keep record of them. The dream world is another reality, and you are becoming more aware of it. I think the statue and the painted skulls are hints to other cultures you may have been part of in other lifetimes. I know you don't necessarily believe in reincarnation, but I do, and if you can't relate to that, you may always assume you were innocently wandering astrally into a shop which accidentally had these artifacts. The question is why they drew your attention in the dream, and I told you what I think.

Flying in dreams is nice and common, as we are more free in the astral body than we are in the physical body.

Your grandma may need you...

Thank you Ayelet

I wouldn't say that I completely 100% disbelieve in reincarnation.I am just unsure about how I feel about it.I am still open minded enough to think there is a possibility it really happens. Its not that I don't believe I think it could happen its more that if it does happen that I am unwilling to return to this earth again.I really have never had visions or dreams of past lives before. If I have had another life or lives on this earth I really have no memory or recollection of it.If I did live before I wonder how I did it as living once is hard enough without doing it over again.I wonder why I would choose to come back to this world. At the moment I don't think the world would miss me if I wasn't here.Perhaps I would have a better time with my life if I thought I had a purpose.
I did wonder if my prayers had caught the attention of the Gods and Goddesses and that the statue and skulls were small clues.I would like it to be a clue.I just can't be 100% and It could just be wishful thinking on my part.Although at the moment the goddess Isis seems to be a goddess I find interesting.A while ago Santa Muerte seemed like an interesting discovery.I didn't do a lot of research but she was interesting.I don't know if its correct but I'm sure I read somewhere that some people link her with the Aztec Goddess of Death and the Underworld http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mictecacihuatl

I probably should visit my grandmother soon.

Yes, life upon Earth is not easy, though it seems some of us take it more lightly. I am not one of these people, but I wish to be. Some lives are more challenging than others. I can understand how life can look so challenging so you wouldn't want to come back. If it is of any comfort to you, at a certain point one doesn't need to reincarnate anymore. If you are interested in a good book on reincarnation, I recommand "journey of souls" and the sequel "Destiny of Souls" by dr. Michael Newton. I believe these books to be very illuminating.

It could be that the appearance of the statue and the skulls is significant as a clue, as regards to your prayers. Even though, it is interesting you were provided with these specific clues and not others, for example a statue of Jesus or Buddha.

Thank you Ayelet for the book recommendations.

I'm not really surprised that I got the skulls and statues.Christianity isn't really doing much for me any more although even when I was Catholic I was always a lousy Catholic .I still think there is a possible Christians both Catholic or Protestant or whatever denomination could be correct in their beliefs but I'm just not 100% sure what I think. Its possible there is only one God,its possible there is a God or Goddess or Gods and Goddesses. Its possible all the Gods are one God and the Goddesses are one Goddess.Perhaps there is only one that is both male and female. It is confusing because there are so many religions and spiritual paths which contradict each other.I would say that I would be more Pagan at heart and would lean towards older Gods and Goddesses.I just don't really know who I'm supposed to be praying to right now.Even though I'm not into Christianity sometimes I may say a prayer to Michael or other angels.I don't really know anything about Buddha or Buddhism, I never felt a pull towards it.
