I was standing on the balcony of my family house. I knew the building was going to be covered with water soon. It was invisible but I knew it was down there, elevating quickly. I was supposed to slide into a parallel world, still Earth, with a couple of people soon but I thought I'd probably die by then cause I remembered I can't swim. After a few moments I had no choice but to jump into the water, I could feel it. I saw others near me but I couldn't tell how they were managing it. I tried to stay on the surface but my body started sinking. I was approaching the ground and I couldn't not breathe any longer. I thought the end was coming but then I appeared in another world. I was in the same place, in my garden but things were a little different. I looked in the direction of the street. The sky was covered in smooth, blue clouds. By the fence there was a unusual tree. It was quite tall, round and colorful (patches of medium blue, light blue, light pink, light yellow, all in pastel tones). The treetop resembled a coral. I looked at the ground next to me and saw a minicopy of it. I looked at the tree again and realized it was alive. My view was zoomed in and I saw a female face emerging out of the "leaves". It was light blue and serious, rather young. I think she had something to say but I don't remember what it was. The end.

I think the tree represents the 'tree of life' and to access the tree of life you have to search the truth in your heart and finding this tree of life is the source of your immortality. I think the water and your house represents how this lifetime has tried to 'drown' you with its untruth and you can be strong enough to overcome the tree of good and evil and find the true tree of life.

It could be the tree of life like athenegoddess said. Or it could be your subconscious. Your younger half or even an unborn child. Water in dreams can sometimes stand for emotions. (Note: Just because you can physically swim doesn't mean you can't spiritually, emotionally, or mentally swim.) You might be coming up on a REALLY big life choice that could change your life and the way you see the world forever (I.E. You drowning in the water and coming out on the other side to a peaceful place.) Your house (though you were standing on it) could represent home and safety (a secure place where you are comfortable). You know (possibly subconsciously) that something big is about to happen and you see that you have two options to run now or wait (apparently you are choosing to wait but sooner or later you will have to go.) It will take you out of your comfort zone into a place you never thought you'd want/need to be before... This doesn't always have to be a physical place.

I do like the perspective of athenegoddess and Debby4 as well .

Please read it as an opinion:
This dream indicates that after dealing with the emotions (=water) new light (=sky, tree) can be faced (=balcony, face in the tree).
