Been awhile since I had a dream that stumped me, and just remembered that I've posted them here before.What I've got is: I was either kneeling or just in a lower part of a room. I look up. On an elevated walkway or large wooden table (oak maybe?) a big black wolf, and from the size of it I'm going to go with Direwolf, walks to the edge of it and looks not at me, but almost straight ahead of its vantage point (which would be looking to my left, not over my shoulder but that general direction). It bares its fangs for a moment, but then relaxes. It keeps watching in that direction. The room was like an old stone building, like a castle or a jeep and there was no light, no torches or anything. Just very low ambient light like maybe moonlight was bouncing off after coming in a window. I didn't get the feel of evil or anything, but felt this has to be significant. I think the wolf's eyes were gold or yellow too. I never looked in the direction the wolf was looking to see what was behind me. Your thoughts?

Please read it as an opinion:
To see a wolf in a dream can indicate to counts on wrong, deceitful friends, or that a friend should not turn into an enemy, because he would be a more unpleasantly opponent. The transcendent meaning of a wolf is that he is a protective animal which can teach something about love and your family.
This dream indicates that there was something left behind(=looking to the left) in the memory of the family(=wooden floor, moonlight, yellow eyes).

I think the wolf is warning you about something not in your sight. Better check if there is an unprotected area in your life right now, a reason to look behind you.IP: Logged |

Hello Black Seraph  Are you feeling low in some way? Either emotionally or positionally? (lower part of room) What do you associate with a Direwolf? Loyalty, protection, danger? In short, the dream suggests that unconscious material (wolf/black/no light) is on the verge of becoming conscious, or needs to be made aware of (wolf looks to left, yellow/gold eyes). It could be suggested that the unconscious material/energy is emotional in nature, or maybe issues from the past (wolf looks to left), perhaps associated with an old/past aspect of your psyche (old stone building). The Direwolf could either be a warning about this unconscious energy, or guidance towards its illumination.  IP: Logged | |
