Dream started with a bonsai type tree with real golden leaves and two beings in lightly painted golden masks with simple wands. I feel they are healers.

There are two dragons. One is golden with green and the other is golden with red. sometimes they kinda merge and roll about tangled in each other. One eats a lot of blackness that is around me or maybe coming from me.
I am held by a winged grizzly bear very secure and safe. A huge buffalo (The bisons' head is so huge! From his eye he shows me my sadness. A lot of emotional sadness. I weep a single tear from my left eye) is on my left and a spirit horse towards my front. For some reason these all have wings.

On my right side is a black water moccasin snake floating in water. Its head and several inches behind its head are out of the water. It seems peaceful but is in the perfect position to bite. I am not sure if it is a warning or a protector.

I am flown to a Native American dance circle on the plains and feel good there. just before i am called out of my dream a golden Sphinx appears It is mobile and seems happy and lively. It is looking at me.

As I am waking up I am shaking and very cold my legs and arms are thrashing about.
so, I would like an interpretation and especially about the water moccasin near my right hand but about all of it.

I think the snake is a protector and not a warning. The dragon eats rhe blackness you emits. He helps healing you. That is a magnificent dream. A ceremony of healing. Initiation.

I was thinking protectors. I do have someone in my life that just waits to cause me as much pain as possible when an opening presents itself.
So was concerned about the snake.
The weeping buffalo?

The weeping buffalo shows you your own sadness. It relates to the healing process, as you have to acknowledge your pain in order to heal.

Hello tuxedo meow

Fascinating dream. In short, I agree with Ayelet about healing and initiation. I would like to explain why, as regards the symbols, but that will have to wait for a few days.

I have seen the wings before in other dreams They had all a positive meaning and I can only agree with the previous posts.

Please read it as an opinion:
The black water moccasin is said to be aggressive, but rarely attacks a human being. They will stand their ground and will expose their white mouth as a warning.
I see the weeping buffalo as a release for the sadness as sadness could turn into aggressiveness as well.

You should read stuff on alchemy symbols...dragons, snakes, the phoenix red and black colours, the waters. These are all symbols that show up.
That seemed like a very cool and meaningful dream.

So far, during these dream journeys, the long tear runs from the left eye. Is that symbolic? The weeping buffalo of all my sadness was also on my left. Tears for the left side?
Left side is closest to the heart.

So thankful for your interaction and interpretations.

My apologies, tuxedo meow, for the delays.

My thoughts about the dream are pretty much the same as everyone else, I just wanted to thread together some of the symbols I see. As is the consensus, this is a powerful dream about healing and self development, but I am finding it difficult to string together the meanings of the symbols in a simple, cohesive way. So I'm just going to kind of list some of the symbols. It might not be necessary, but I just want to see if any other connections can be made.

The list got a bit lengthy, so I'll have to type it out later. I will be back to do it as soon as I can.

This kind of dream is just fascinating to me because of all of the interconnectedness between the symbols, and the repetition of the theme.

Right from the beginning you are aware that healing energies are at work (golden leaves/beings, "I feel they are healers").

Gold/golden - enlightenment, divinity, the fourth and final stage in alchemical transformation (symbolized also by red).

Two (two beings/dragons) - balancing energies.

Dragons - developing self, healing, protector/guardian.

Entwined dragons/serpents - indicate a particularly healing dream.

Dragon eating your blackness - transformation of negative mental/emotional energy.

Black - negative energy, the unknown, unconscious. Alchemically, the first stage in transformation.

Bear - power, cyclic activity, Mothering energy.

Buffalo - power, primal energy, bearing of burden (in your case, emotional/sadness)

Horse - power, instinct, masculine energy.

Wings - the rising up of potential energies within self, represented by the animals which are winged, into a higher, more expanded activity.

Snake - transformation, cyclic activity, healing, danger. While one or more of these characteristics may apply in the background, I think your black water snake could represent someone in your life who is "in the perfect position to bite", an emotional position (water), perhaps a man (right side = masculine) and/or someone who is latently (seems peaceful) aggressive (right). Or it could indicate the active energies (right) of emotional (water) darkness (black) which are to be transformed (snake). I also feel that the black snake is a related representation of the blackness around or coming from you in the dragon scene. It is this energy which is in conflict with your receptive, intuitive, feeling side (left/buffalo) . As such, the single tear from your left eye is the same as the sad buffalo on your left side, an expression of pain/conflict to your emotional side. Perhaps also the release of it.

Native American dance circle - sacred circle, initiation, self development, balancing, harmonizing, healing.

Golden Sphinx - convergence of aspects of self with their divine counterparts, unity between upper and lower, initiation.

The colors - red and green are opposite colors on the primary color wheel. The gold/red and gold/green dragons sometimes "merge" … Could this represent the coming together of opposing/conflicting energies within self to consume (eat) and transform (dragons) the "blackness" around/within you into a higher level (gold)?

Besides the usual meanings, there are alchemical representations ( as Soltze suggested) for all of the colors in the dream. As I mentioned above, black represents the first stage, and gold/red represents the fourth and final stage. Green is growth and represents the second stage. The third stage, white, is conspicuously missing. As this dream seems to be using archetypal symbology, of which alchemical symbology is a part, I can't help but wonder if the missing color/stage is a suggestion as to what is needed to complete the transformation process. The white/third stage represents "new knowing". Could there be something you have yet to understand, learn, or feel as truth that, once "known", will aid in the process of transforming your "blackness" into "gold", raising you up upon the spiral of self-development?

As you can see, the symbols in this dream can be read in different ways and many different connections can be made between them. There are multiple symbols for balancing, for opposing/conflicting energies, for healing, for power, for self-development, for cyclic activity. But regardless of how you read them, a single theme emerges - transformation, healing, balancing. There are powerful forces at work within your sphere … can you feel them yet?

Thank you so much. So so much!!
I always love to be protected by my grizzly bear and to have such closeness to the buffalo!
Spirit horse ready to take me running under the stars full speed. All feel protective.
The waiting poisonous snake black in this case
Could be a younger woman who lurks and waits for anything I might say or do that she can twist and cause me harm with.
I have had a beautiful green and creme snake which also had the characteristic venomous shaped head. It was so beautiful and
Clean! It opened its mouth so wide and inside its mouth was so beautiful. Even the "spit" on its gorgeous but poisonous fangs gleamed. The green snake gifted me with what I think was a pearl from its mouth. I had no trepidation about it.
The black snake was just floating in the water with its head out. The water was clean enough to see all of it. I did make an effort in the journey dream NOT to move my right hand which is where it was.
There is a woman in my matralineal line that uses dark energy etc to harm me. I am the focus for her negative intensity. Daily and extremely. The feelings I have concerning her do keep me from actualizing what I am being shown and given in these journeys.
I feel not pure enough to follow through because of this several lifetime awareness of her intent.
I know I make my own choices in this but must somehow give her the opening to continue. She is powerful and manipulative-a negative spell worker who seems to me to be a narcissistic sociopath.
So I feel this dark snake could bite someone/thing and inadvertantly protect me.
the black snake does not fit in with the other three animals. The green snake made me feel great joy and wonder.
The black snake makes me feel cautious. That I could get bit.

Thank you for teaching me some alchemy.
I hold you dear.

My choices not being for the good of all.
Choosing to focus judgement on the matri lineal line woman and focusing negatively.
This could end up "biting" me. Or, a protective warning?
The situation is a big block imo.
And what direction is assigned the right arm?
