Hello AllHave not dreamt in a while. I was at a gorgeous looking tropical house and I walked out to the swimming pool at back of the house which had lots of lush greenery and it felt hot. The pool snaked around little islands. I was looking into the clear blue water when these water animals swam up to me. There were large turtles, small dolphins, otters etc. I was afraid to swim with these animals. I feel there is a lot if symbolism here. The house was lovely, warm brown colours and temperature felt hot. Sparkling IP: Logged |

You can do look up every animal in your dream and see whether you find a connection there if you want to. e.g. quote:
Otter Ability to ‘swim’ with skill – to meet the ever changing moods and feelings of water without ‘drowning’ – i.e. to meet the changing, the currents and falls of life without ‘drowning’. It also indicate skill in seeing what is under the surface of your everyday life and mind, and the ability to draw nourishment out of the hidden depths of your mind and spirit. Ancient cultures saw the otter as a clean holy creature. In early Britain the otter was seen as a holy animal, with the ability to transfer from the land to underwater. This meant the ability to dive into the world after death, so a knower of the mysteries. The otter is also an extremely playful creature and may be shown in your dream as your natural good spirits and playfulness. Useful Questions and Hints: Are you looking within for answers or strength – if so what is your dream otter showing of this? Does your dream show the otter swimming well or badly – and how does that reflect on your life skills? What is your dream otter doing and what does that suggest?

Hello Sparkling The scenery/landscape of this dream suggests a care-free, relaxing environment which you are either now experiencing, or are in need of. Either way, it could be suggested that things are "heating up" (felt hot), perhaps leading you to some self reflection or introspection (looking into clear blue water). The water animals you encounter symbolize aspects of self, probably emotional aspects (water), and they are not of a particularly threatening or ominous variety, suggesting that they are relatively familiar to you, or are not as "dangerous" as your mind has made them out to be. Either way, you are "afraid to swim with these animals", suggesting that you are anxious/fearful about dealing with emotional issues. This fear may be limiting your ability to fully enjoy or experience a more idyllic environment (tropical house, etc.) which you need or is otherwise available to you. What is holding you back? What fear/anxiety do you need to overcome? Is it about self-confidence or self-doubt?

Hi Ra Emotionally I have been dealing with self-confidence issue at work as had co-worker try to get promotion above me. I am also dealing with toxic ex boyfriend contacting as well as current love being a little unstable and a dad I have not seen in 20 years contacting. I feel the environment of the dream is what I am desperate for : a calm, beautiful hot environment. There was something about the submerging of myself in the pool with these animals that I did not want to do. I perhaps do not want to face all these men in my life... Sparkling IP: Logged |
