I have periods in my life where I keep seeing the same people all the time. Same person/persons in grocery store in one part of town (live in a LARGE city and one that is also full with tourists) only to see them the next day in bathroom at McDonalds across town or in a park miles away. This involves very random people and the last month it's been happening a lot! Last time it happened was actually last summer, July-August as well I think.

It may just be coincidences but I do not believe in those so if someone could maybe interpret this from a dream-pov, I'd be thankful!

And yes, life is a dream...

If it were in a dream, I'd say you guys think of one another. But it's "reality". Same thing? I think it may show you, demonstrate, how we all are connected to each other. That is, I believe, the meaning of these coincidences.

In my personal experience those coincidences happened

1. to remind me to work on it one more time as it is not solved.
   
2. to show me that I have transformed and it is solved.

Looks like we all agree.

If this were a dream, I would say that the recurring, random people represent aspects of yourself that need to be paid more attention, or that need to be recognized as they manifest in various areas of your life.

If "life is but a dream", perhaps something psychologically similar is happening in your waking life. Perhaps the synchronicity (a term I prefer to "coincidence") is a function of awareness or attention, indicating periods in which your awareness is heightened. Or perhaps it serves as a reminder that "it’s a small world", or that are invisible connections/associations/forces at work all around and between us.

I'm just now seeing this post that's a few weeks old, but I thought I'd share that I agree with the idea of it being related to synchronicity and demonstrating the connectedness of people. I like GeminiKarat's thoughts about people either reminding you of what you need to be working on, or appearing to show you the progress you've made.

I've had kind of similar experiences lately. I work as a psychologist, and I work with a very specific population of people. Usually I get maybe 1-2 people e-mailing me each month from this particular website asking to see me for their problem. I'll be moving to another state in about a month, and even though they have no way of knowing I'm leaving, I have been totally bombarded by people e-mailing me in the last few weeks saying they found me on this website and wanting to get in to see me for therapy. I've probably had 10 or more people just in the last 2 weeks, which is just weird - that's never happened before. It feels like they somehow sensed I was leaving and that spurred them into action. I also had a previous client who I haven't heard from in years contact me last week, and I won't go into any details but the timing just felt synchronistic - also like he sensed I was leaving. Don't mean to hijack this post with too much of my own story, but it's an older post now anyway, so I just thought I'd share. I do think we're all connected, and people are attracted into and repelled out of our lives at particular times and for particular reasons. It's really fascinating and beautiful.
