Topic: Dream as a message.. an attack from the swan

I am going through the cleansing of my inner blocks regarding relationships. Tonight was the first night and the dreams were interesting and revealing. I figured out what two other of them meant, but this one is a tough nut. I was sitting in an armchair outside the house, near the lake. A white swan came along and i kind of liked him, he wanted to be close. I handed him my hand and he started to bite me, my finger was completely ripped off in slices. There was an insane pain, but no blood at all. All i knew is that i almost couldn't feel my finger and thought that i would loose it. It was my right hand, btw. So i am trying to decipher this message. Right hand deals with giving. I was trying to be nice to the swan and was attacked by him. Could that mean that i am afraid of giving people the love, the affection - because i am afraid to be hurt? It could be true. The swan is also associated with close relationships, love, etc. - so i am afraid that if i give in, i would be hurt and in much pain. But there was no blood, not sure what that means. I think both interpretations can be right, plus - the swan is very noble. Why should such an animal attack you? Perhaps that aspect of yourself has been hurt by something? But I do think it is more concerned with a fear to love.IP: Logged |

Please read it as additional information:
A swan can be seen as a transformative symbol from ugly to beautiful. Those things can hurt. That there is no blood could also mean that giving love may hurt, but it would not take away parts of yourself.
