I didn't know Cernnunos before I read your question. So I read a little about him. Have you found recently new, formerly hidden power within yourself? Also, what do you personally associate with this god? Maybe you acquired a new ability that has to do with what this god signifies. What do you think?

As far as I know I don't think I've gained any hidden ability or power.
I think of Cernunnos as a Nature deity.I see him as lord of the forests.I see him as a God of life,death and rebirth.I associate him with hunting.I think he could be connected to fertility and virility and masculinity.I think he also can teach us about making sacrifices for the greater good.

I think he has came into my mind because recently there has been a bit of illness in my family.I have also been thinking about the past and how my life and everything is changing around me.I have been thinking about death and losses a lot recently.I did pray to Cernunnos a while ago however I didn't get any direct communication with him.Although I have been praying and calling to many different Gods and Goddeses recently so Its not like I just focus on him.Death,rebirth and transformation seem to be major themes with a lot of the deities who grab my attention.Last night I expressed a desire to discover if any of the Gods or Goddesses would be interested in working with me so I did wonder if that's why I thought of Cernunnos.Although It could just be wishful thinking.There have been times where I may have felt a pull to certain deities however I don't think I ever I got a direct confirmation from any of them.Although it could be possible they tried to give me signs and I just didn't realise.

So you have been working with deities for some time. You may have asked protection from them, and the statute of cernonnus has appeared in your dream as a sort of an amulet. I know illness is alarming, and I wish you and your family would go through this state without any losses, if that can be.
