Topic: racially divided warning dream?

In this short dream I have a large suitcase with various things in it. A group of young black males start picking up things from it and kind of dare me to make them stop.
On the other side of the fence I am standing next to is an older group of black men and on the other side of that yard is a fence where my son and some other white people are.
The young men by me seem threatening now and I shout out a friends name and wave my arm in the direction of the other two groups thinking the men pestering me might stop.
The name I call is that of a small older white lady who is not even present.
Instead my son hears me and starts to come over towards me.
He is grabbed and thrown to the ground roughly by the group of older black men.
I start over to help him leaving my suitcase and the group harassing me.
While my very blonde son is grappling with some of the older black men, I take one of them by the arm and start pulling him towards the area I had been in thinking he will put a stop to what was going on there.
At this time I see a large black rat scuttling away.
I mention black and white because our colors and groups were clearly divided as so.
Is this a warning dream?

To me an interesting break down. The fences were wire not so high. I don't normally divide or classify folks either. The dream set up made this an item of note.
the rat I recognized as a portend if that is the right word. Someone causing a problem sneakily. What's the rest though? 3 yards, 2 fences, three groups of people, the suit case?IP: Logged |

Do I read that correct:
You are standing in/on a fenced yard. You stand on the one side in the yard with a large suitcase and black people start to pick things out. Your son is where? Is he in the yard on the opposite side of yours, but with a group of white people?

Where are these groups located? In/outside the fence? Close to your son? Was there any difference to this group? Color/age/gender?

As your son is approaching you and was stopped. Is this a fourth group in the yard? Are in this area – that you want to pull this man – already people?

There are three groups.
Me and the suitcase and the young black men.
A fence directly in front of me separating me
From a second group of people in a yard. This group is in the center of the yard and between the yard my son is in and the one I am in.
In a row.
My son hears me calling and steps over or through the fence separating him from the older group of men. He is coming to my aid when he is taken to the ground in that middle yard.
I climb through or over the fence into the middle yard. For some reason I approach the group of men there and take one if their arms to get that man to come on my side of fence to stop the young men by my suitcase.
My son is on the ground but seemingly unhurt
But not being allowed up.
Then I plainly see the big black rat scuttling sneakily away.

When I shout and wave I am not actually doing it to anyone. I am trying to trick the guys around me and my suitcase to think I have someone near.
Only a little later do I realize my son is in the third yard.IP: Logged |

Please read it as an opinion:
The colour black, fence, suitcase and yard could indicate the unconsciousness of a dreamer.
This dream indicates a struggle(=suitcase) and limitation (=fence) within(=black,yard)and the reach out(=step over the fence) to light(=son).IP: Logged |
