Topic: A Halloween Party + Pets? - kind of long. Please help!

Seems like my mind was trying to catch me up on dreams last night. I haven't remembered any for the past few weeks, and last night I had three! I'm only mentioning two because of the feelings I got from them. From what I remember I was walking around a plaza and saw a store selling cats and dogs. I saw two BEAUTIFUL cats, there was a ray of light shining on one them. They were quite large for cats but they weren't tigers or anything. I wanted them but something stopped me. I remember walking past the store and seeing a dog in a cage, and even though it was behind glass it still shot out it's paw at me (suddenly, but not aggressively if that makes sense). I noticed it but continued to walk past and into this house that had a Halloween party. I wasn't drunk when I was looking at the cats, then when I stepped into the house I was. I did another shot in the house and then I remember this girl in a black witch hat passed me coming out of the bathroom where Matt McGory was, dressed up as a pirate. I wasn't in a costume, just regular clothing. Regardless I remember going in and it was obvious they'd hooked up but it didn't bother me. I think McGory was just a guy friend in my dream. Anyway, I remember really really needing to use the bathroom (we're both still in the bathroom btw) but when I lifted up the toilet seat the toilet was disgusting! It was bubbling with some kind of yellow foam all around the rim and I think there were condoms both in it and laying around it. I left the bathroom (McGory still in there) and walked to another part of the house thinking there was a bathroom there, there wasn't. So I walked across the hall (from the original bathroom) to the Men's bathroom and opened the door. More guys just hanging out in there watching TV. I shut the door and came back to the first bathroom. I was sloshed at this point and it seemed like McGory was watching me whirl around and he kept trying to bring up something important that I was ignoring him. I knew we needed to talk about this thing but I acted like I didn't notice. __________ In any case what with my extensive knowledge on bathroom dreams (I have them a lot. I used to have dreams about murder while I was growing up but now I'm grown up, so I just have repressed-emotion bathroom dreams) and Gemini's good advice to pay attention to how a dream makes you feel, I see patterns in not acknowledging McGory and the toilet not being usable. I also looked up what being "drunk" in a dream meant and it said careless and irresponsible which kind of makes sense. Being drunk (careless) and ignoring McGory + the unusable toilets (not caring about his feelings maybe?) But how does the random girl figure into this, or the men's bathroom being occupied, or looking for another bathroom? IP: Logged |

Please read it as an additional opinion:
Cats can be seen as a feminine symbol in a dream and dogs as a masculine symbol. A glass wall can be seen as an isolation, because things are seen, but cannot be reached or have a real communication. In connection with other symbols hats circumscribe the bundled up ideas.
This dream indicates the approach (=back to the 1. Bathroom) to solve (=yellow) things that were on the mind (=hat).IP: Logged |

Oh that's true! Yes, I did read that Cats represented intuition and I've been waiting for mine to get back on track as of lately. I wonder if that's why the ray of light was shining down on one of the cats. Good observation about the dog being in a cage...so what's it mean reaching out to me? Like is that a symbol for guys (in general) trying to talk to me but they can't or something? IP: Logged |

The color of the light is a good detail for the intuition and may give you another hint. You can connect it with the 7 or 13 chakra system if you want to.
Could it be that there was a man in your past that did hurt your feelings?
He had similiar features like that actor. Good looking applies to every actor

Not that it matters but I wanted to update I think this dream was premonition! I went to a Halloween party tonight and there was a guy there who really did hurt my feelings in the past, and he kept trying to make small talk with me and I wouldn't have it. Unfortunately I had to be around him and ignore him longer than I wanted to and I was drunk so naturally I kept having to go to the bathroom.IP: Logged |
