Topic: Getting a 'job' and money...

I was walking in this "downtown" area (I've been before in other dreams but not waking life/Actually never even really seen a place like it in waking life) and I happen to stop into this book/figurine/knickknack store. This lady is showing this couple a little figurine that she is making for them. They tell her they want it to hang over the side with loose leggings. She replies "Oh! You want a laddyiy(sp)!" She then looks as me as they walk out and starts explaining to me about how she makes them and she's just looking at me like she knows something I don't. She get's mail and in it is a money order. She's happy and says "She's been waiting for it for a while!" We talk a bit more about her beautiful figurines and jewelry and I say goodbye and start to leave. She says she's about to leave as well grabs her coat and mail and starts to head out the door with me. We start walking and talking. When she asks me if I would like some money and hands me the envelope with the money inside of it. I say I can't take it but she insist! I say thank you and realize I'm going the wrong way. I say goodbye and walk off to meet with my friends I turn around to see if she's there... she's not. O_O I go to cash the check with my phone and it reads 229.(some cents I can't remember, I think it was 229.19). As I'm walking with my friends we happen across a store/mall (I've also been here before in previous dreams)/food court of the mall where we decide to eat. I barely talk to the manager and they offer me a job. :L I'm looking for a job in waking life but it was weird. .-. I've never been to these places before and they don't look like anything I've seen before besides the land was hilly. (/.\) IP: Logged |

It seems like this dream is a good omen you'll get a job and cash. As for the store, do you happen to have any latent artistic skills? Just a thought. It is special that there are places you visit regularly in the dream's state. I don't quite know what to make of it. IP: Logged |

Hello Debby  You are receiving in the dream what you are looking for in waking life - money and a job. The dream is functioning as a kind of psychological balancing tool, a common occurrence. But there seems to be more to it, especially considering the lady who seems to "know something" you do not, and her "gift " to you. At this point I am just speculating, so we'll see where it goes. The lady is explaining how she creates an item, and Ayelet makes a good point about that, but this could also be about "creating" something professionally, and perhaps something you will have to wait for (lady was waiting for money order). That brings us to the money ... could 229 be a date? That is my first impression, but I could certainly be wrong. Could the cents have been 16 instead of 19? 229.16? 2/29/16? I know February has 28 days, but next year is a leap year so it will have 29, and 2/29/16 just happens to be a Monday, a likely day of the week to begin a new job. Coincidence perhaps, and speculation to be sure. Could the dream suggest that you could get an "any kind of job" rather quickly and easily (mall/food court type job), for the time being, but that something better awaits you in the near future if you take the steps to "create" it? I don't know, but it is an intriguing possibility that time will tell. If so, it could be suggested that the choices you make will be key (knickknack store and mall/food court are all about choices). Hi Ra!  Sorry I hadn't gotten back to you. o: Thought no other comments would show up :P That's a very interesting take you bring up here. O_O Especially with the date. I hadn't even thought of that. It could have been .19  I don't remember all to well. It's weird though, I keep applying for those jobs and NOTHING! :c Maybe something to help me out in the long run (i.e. getting in to a 4 year university, or getting a better paying job, etc.)?
