Last night I was watching a 2005 episode of Forensic Files about the 2004 murder of a gay Missouri college student at the hands of his gay police officer lover. This morning I happened to be scrolling down my Facebook newsfeed when a post on the ID Channel (true crime show channel) caught my eye. It was a short clip from a presumed upcoming episode about the murder of the college student. Is this just an odd coincidence? It's just odd to me that I had just watched and learned about last night and it's coming up again randomly on Facebook.

I don't know if it means anything or if it's just a coincidence. I do remember that when I heard where the college was that the crime had occurred at, I immediately realized it was the alma mater of a guy I had just stopped seeing a few weeks ago because he couldn't commit (but I still think about him everyday and hope one day I'll hear from him again saying he wants a relationship). I know that a murder and a crush are wildly different topics, but I was thinking that maybe being reminded about his college (and subsequently him) last night and this morning is some type of sign. We ended on terrible terms though, and he won't talk to me or respond to my texts. His birthday is next Friday too :/

Many people in astral realm post their dreams here and we try to decipher a meaning with the given symbols.

I see it as a coincidence as well. You can try to post it in universal codes too. Maybe they have a different point of few.

Hello SunAscendant

I prefer the term "synchronicity" to "coincidence", particularly if a person feels there is some meaning behind the structure. Symbolically, the topic here of murder doesn't seem to bode well. However, death is an ending, which invariably leads to a new beginning. It is up to you how to interpret.

I had another synchronistic event happen to me last night.

I love reading up on cold cases and watching true crime shows like I mentioned before. Last night I was on Facebook looking at this page for a cold case about a missing girl that I've been following for two years. The 20th anniversary of her disappearance is actually this Sunday (she's still missing).

So here I am looking at updates on her missing person Facebook page while simultaneously browsing this dating website when I get a message from a guy on the site who happens to be from the same small Chicago town that this missing girl is from!!!!!!! I mean what are the odds that a person originally from the same Chicago town as the missing girl I'm looking at decides to message me on a dating site?!

I believe so strongly in fate that I have two tattoos with the words "serendipity" and "everything happens for a reason". If you believe in fate and destiny then fate will help you in life.

Wow, that is odd.

"Everything happens for a reason." I say that all the time.

So what do you think is going on?
