...I'm in a farmer's market/co-op buying cabbage that were still planted in the ground. I go home and there's someone in the apartment, a roommate. They're about to go under the covers into bed, said his name then hands me a sheet of paper with likes/dislikes/bio.

I started reading the list, then decided to read it later. Later as I'm reading the list it falls to the ground, into a puddle which made it translucent and the text unreadable...I wake up.

You're being selective(list) about the people you're 'getting in bed with'? i.e. Entering a relationship with, friends or business.

Or, YOU need to take careful accounting of 'who' you're letting affect you, to where it has your head feeling like cabbage when you go to sleep at night?

You show sooo much care and awareness of earth-n-cabbage. You're down to earth, dealing with the total issue AND its context.

Here's something 'funny'--- a Cabbage Patch has to do with children, Babies. Are you wondering if your pregnant? or thinking about it?

Could be a warning that you are 'fertile' (if you don't want to have a child at this time)? Consider the conquences to your life at this time. List of pros and cons, and how that could impact your future?

I like a lot of what mirage said. And I like the roommate/cabbage definitions. Those are good ideas to work with.

My first impression is a warning to not buy into someone/something before it is time or you are ready. Maybe the "roommate" is not "the one".

In the dream, did you take the cabbage home that you bought?

Thanks Ra, coming to this really late.

ummm, that memory has escaped me. Can't remember if I brought home the cabbage or not. I remember being very selective in the market and not getting anything.

Yes, I am very selective in real life.
