Am having a very hard time at work and may lose my job. I was in tears for most of yesterday and before I fell asleep I prayed.

I was dreaming this morning of a run down wooden house with my belongings inside and warm temperature and blue sky outside. In real life,I was stirred or woken out of sleep by the feeling of someone hugging me very tightly. It felt like a proper hug.

I woke up and looked at the time. It was 4am.

Has anyone else experienced this?

As it was, he got so stoned that he fell out of his bed laughing. I believe it was his mom who came in and slapped his face several times so that he "saw lights" but felt zero pain or fear.

Hours later, he dreamed he lived with another family and he felt safe and loved, a feeling he never knew or even imagined (abused children typically see their situation as "ordinary" which is just one reason why they tend not to trust others to help them). There was affection toward him, and when he woke up, it was a state of bliss. It so affected him that he didn't attempt suicide again while a kid, and he kept hoping to meet that family again in dreams...but never did. Yet somehow it gave him the strength to carry on for years.

Was it the drugs? He has a hard time thinking so as he tried other drugs later and never had an experience like that. This wasn't physical euphoria, it was like an alien experience for him, and he never forgot it. There was a bit of mystified awe as he told me of it over 20 years after it happened.

I had that experience of being 'hugged' and actually FEELING it at the same time, while in a lucid-dreaming experience I had with a deceased Scorpio Grandmother.

I asked her 'why' I could 'feel' her hugging me. (She wasn't a physically demonstrative person, at all.)

I think it was her saying a kind of farewell to me, leaving me with that 'impression' of a 'tangible' kind of Care from the universal forces at-large. I am an older person here, compared to some of you others. At that time, I was standing at the threshold of some calamities that befell me. (nasty-Divorce, gross betrayals).

Not saying that you are facing calamities ahead of you, okay? LOL

Her answer (in the dream) to me was that 'You've got Bones' ... and this haunted me all my life. I found out later that Bones can mean disasters and calamities that will befall you.... Her hug and her message was 'right on time'.

What I am saying is that YES, I have "experienced this before" as your thread title asked. And it was a GOOD and warm memory that has accompanied me for the whole rest of my life, from that point-of-Hug.

Hello How insightful! My partner is also having major career shift as is studying for entrance exams into government job. I was wondering if 11th house transit plays a part in our lives. This job am interviewing for will involve overseas travel too, other places, other cultures. I'll keep positive - whatever happens, I am worthy of goodness.

Mars has to do with ego drives. Remain conscious of the needs of those around you, while you formulate your goals and actively lay tracks for your future. Sometimes Mars can fluff up a few conflicts from people around you who (even unconsciously) just feel like they want to stop you from getting ahead. But keep holding that 'deserving'-space inside yourself, (~and try not to let 'turkeys' get you down).

With transiting Saturn in Sag in your 11th too? This can create resistance from people who want to block you, and/OR bring out supporters and friends who have influence and can help you get ahead. (Which seems to have happened for you...)

But you are MORE than just your chart. If it worries you, then back away from astrology for now.... It's better to feel Positive in your life, than to waste your time focused on a rock. Take that shoe off, dump the pebble, and dance your own dance of Life.

Keep Faith in yourself... and if you Believe in God, then KNOW that He has the Best in store for you and your life.

Find the "wins" in what you just went through...

"Own" the part of the equation that they thought of you, chose to interview you for the position.

"Own" that there are people who see your qualities and abilities, and that you are 'present' in their minds.
