Turned on a snooze-sleep timer to a talk-radio program just to have something mumbling in the background (but too low for me to pay attention so that I could fall asleep).

(It was an interview talk show featuring a man who was talking about conspiracy theories and money. The voices were low and in a good tonal range for me. They weren't necessarily angry, so my gut wouldn't be reacting to overly-emotional tones.)

I thought I was actually half-awake and believed I 'saw' a spider rapidly lowering itself down a thread. At higher level, it was a tan beefy-looking smaller spider. As it descended, it seemed to rapidly transform (like bloomed) into a giant black spider-- (or else the tan-beige spider was the small companion of the growing 3 1/2 to 4-inch spider)!

The spider never landed, but continued hanging and lowering itself, evolving and growing soft hairs around its body and appendages.

As I lifted my head and body out of the bed, reactively, I realized I was standing up and awake, however was still seeing that spider hanging there in the dark, travelling down the thread.

I felt very very calm inside, even though a bit alarmed. Walked over to my closet a few steps away and turned that light on to throw some indirect lumination into the room.

Update.....

There's so much going on in my life right now, things are really in a state of flux.

But I trust that things will all come out just fine -- Maybe even Better than fine, too! LOL

I am aware of some of the other meanings, BTW.... did more research, just in case you were hesitating about saying those things.

A few of those issues are already resolving, even more this evening... (which would have been the more-negative part of interpretations).

It was like the Universe had already planned something in place to stop that AS it was ready to happen.

Had to do with a health issue-- too much thyroid hormone, and high potassium discovered in lab work later that morning. Dose is lowered now, drinking water to flush, and laying off eating too many bananas for a while....

My personal favourite symbol/meaning of a spider is:
"Everybody is the weaver of one's own fate."
I like it, because one thread of the spider is very strong. If you take that into account it is up to everybody to decide what to weave.
