Hello 313n Considering your astrological reference and your question, this is a fascinating dream. I have some immediate impressions, but will have to find the words to properly express them. Asking about your twin flame is a tall order. Do you understand the nature of a twin flame relationship, and how it is different from a soul mate relationship, or karmic tie? These are often confused. Are you thinking, because of the dream, that your ex could be your twin flame? How do you feel about that? In my view this is unlikely, but certainly not impossible. It is not for me to say. Give me a day (or two) to sort out my thoughts and try to present them in a cohesive fashion. Oh, when you mentioned the "strange couple", did you mean strange as in weird, or strange as in unfamiliar? I am guessing "unfamiliar". Also, not that it is terribly important, but were the birthday cakes round, by chance? IP: Logged |

Hello Ra, thanks for you reply I did read a little more about what twin flames are, also the differences between soul mates. I would like to understand some more if there is any valid info out there. I am very much sure that the relationship with my ex was karmic. Though it was a long distant ,push pull , on & off relationship, I believe we both learnt a lot from eachother during the good and difficult times we had together. A lot of ego in the way for making things right I believe. I for sure went through my awakening with her. or was going through it while meeting her? still trying to figure it out. I have rarely seen her in my dreams, that is why it came as a shock to me. As for the couple, I would say both weird and unfamiliar, but a kind one. 1 birthday cake was round, the other square or rectangular, can't remember exactly.

To be honest, I have not yet found any info that could persuade me as such. I do believe in karma, karmic events, ties and so on, but the twin flame theory seems a little too much for me at this point. I may be wrong thoughIP: Logged |

I'm not sure how cohesive this is going to be, but I'll give it a shot. There are three "pairings" in this dream which I feel represent aspects of the twin flame relationship about which you asked ... the two cakes, the strange couple, and you and the ex. A birthday cake represents a cycle or cycles and the passage of time as well as personal growth/development within these cycles. It is a perfect symbol for the Self (especially when round), for the soul and its cycles/lifetimes of development. Two birthday cakes ... two of the same thing, yet separate and different (circle and square), with their own "cycles". And the inferred candles? Flames? Just a thought. One cake is you (you eat/"incorporate" it), and the other is your other. There is also the idea that one is present, and one is not - different incarnation cycles. It could be that your friends and the ex are representative of your soul group, your soul mates. (This may or may not be the case in waking life. I am speaking only in terms of dream symbolism.) So the strange couple could symbolize the twin flame concept which is both weird and unfamiliar to you, yet is also part of the experience of the soul group (in friend's house). Does that make sense? What is familiar to you are the relationships in which you know there is karmic interplay, lessons to be learned, energies to work out. Enter the ex. I think she represents that which you are seeking/asking (twin flame) and that which you have (karmic or soul mate relationship). It is through such karmic relationships that we learn, grow, and prepare ourselves for the eventual coupling with our "twin", the ultimate relationship on this level of our evolution. So I think your question was indeed answered. Your twin flame is unknown to you, may not be incarnated at this time, and that you are still in the mode of discovery and preparation (as are the vast majority of us ). I hope this makes at least some sense. Putting my thoughts to paper on this dream proved quite difficult! What do you think? IP: Logged |

Yes I can understand the meaning of the cakes, and it's true, I have been working a lot on my self these past months, struggling to shift into a new cycle in my life (just had my Nodal Return a few days ago.I don't think it's a coincidence), but I am in crossroads with myself. No,I did not see any candles. The symbolism of twin flames is indeed agnostic to me. But I am curious tbh. Thank you for helping me understand this dream. And giving me more answers than I was expecting IP: Logged |

Yes I am single, but I have yet to heal my heart 100% as to let anything new come in at the moment. This time I really don't want to have any garbage inside of me before I proceed to another love story. I must close all doors first I believe. IP: Logged |
