I dreamed I tried to cut off my left hand with an axe and I failed, there was a little of blood, almost nothing. What does it mean?IP: Logged |

The arm in a dream symbolizes the ability to express all feelings, thoughts and needs. An amputation in a dream leads to the question: What I have to tear apart in order to become complete again?

Hello MahaKali I think this dream has to do with the same feminine energies alluded to in your other two dreams. I see exactly what GeminiKarat means, and that could be exactly right. There is also another way of looking at it. The left hand can symbolize the expression of (hand), or "handling" of, feminine energies (left). In a sense, the left hand represents the flow of feminine energy from your inner self to your outer world. In waking life, how is this flow damaged/injured? Are you failing to express, or having difficulty expressing, certain feminine energies? Or perhaps you are trying to suppress these energies, but have failed to completely "cut off" its expression/flow? (failed to cut off hand) Either way, there is conflict.  IP: Logged |

I use to have dreams like this one, a psychologist just explained that you don't feel put together. I haven't had one in a long long time tho and at the time I was going threw alot in my personal life.IP: Logged |

I've heard an idea of the left hand symbolizing one's past and the right hand symbolizing one's future, often dealt with the markings the hands themselves have. Could such have to do with this? Is there something from the past that may be holding you back? ------------------
