I had a strange dream, i was in an old kind of medieval town, just walking on the street when i saw my girlfriend (but we did not met eachother, yet i knew who she was) dressed up in a 18 century white dress, selling wine corks on a street corner. I walked up to her and was amused and confused by what she was selling. I asked her if she wants a puff pastry she said yes and gave me 3 corks, wich made me laugh. I went to the bakery, bought 2 puff pastry and weirdly, the baker was fascinated by the corks because they were rare he said, and one of the corks split in two and inside it was a small paper with a message from a king, with a quote from the bible about the apocalypse and poiting to a nearby cathedral. I was intrigued, and walked with my girlfriend there to see what is all about. We found the cathedral, we walked inside and there were a bunch on bible quotes on the walls. We found the right one and i didn't know what to do. My girlfriend found a little lever behind a courtain, pulled it and the altair moved aside, revealing a staircase to an ancient wine cellar and in the back there was an old coffer. Excited, we opened it and inside was my girlfriend, but dressed in actual clothes, just like i saw her yesterday and she was smiling at me. Then i suddenly woke up.

Please illuminate me, because i sense some deep hidden meaning to this dream.
Maybe the medieval looking girlfriend and setup simbolizes something old, from her past, the wine corks something that you need to open, like a door... Im not sure yet.

Please read it as an opinion:
The classical interpretation of a cork and a wine bottle would be:
cork=man
bottle=woman
The rest of the story is self-explanatory .

The dream seems to be a reflection of the past and the connection thereof. It tends into the direction of the king, the church and a secret of this past life.

This dream could have something to do with a change in the relationship with your friend, perhaps concerning out-dated, out-moded, or otherwise "old" aspects of her or yourself. If so, the dream may offer some insight on the dynamics of it, but I'm not sure that is the correct reading.

Has there been a change in your relationship with this friend?

Also, when you say "coffer", is that what you mean, or "coffin"?

Well, there have been some changes in our relationship, quite often.
We both changed in a good way since we met eachother, we both shared a similar dark past and we heal together, even if sometimes we end up arguing because we mirror eachother. Its way deeper than a normal relationship, we both met in past lives, we feel eachother emotionally and mentally, we present all the "symptoms" of a twin flame Wich made me think, her poping out of that coffer/treasure chest it might be her revealing to me in some way.
