Topic: Dream about a Wedding

I had a dream last night about a wedding...MY wedding. It was really weird because it didn't feel like my wedding. Except I was the only one really dressed up. I had on a tradition white dress but it had red sleeves and I had on a red sweater/coat. People kept telling me congratulations. When I got to the top of the stair case (I was waiting with this HUGE vrowd of people on a really long and grand staircase) I needed to go to the bathroom really bad (i had to go in rl) but while I was in there the bathroom was really weird. No one really gelped me or anything, but the stall had to close on another stall just so I could go! When I got to the altar I was really nervous but excited. I looked out into the crowd and saw familiar faces and some not so familiar. When I turn to look at my soon to be husband...I woke up.IP: Logged |

It seems you are thinking much about your future wedding. I wonder about the red sleeves and coat - what does the colour red signify for you? It may signify passion, or fertility... but why the sleeves, or the coat? Sleeves are on your hands, your own doings. A coat protects you. Whatever the red represents, it is there for protection and as something you are responsible for. The bathroom scene, I think, is due to your rl need and I don't know whether it had further significance. I didn't understand the stools thing, sorry... You woke up before seeing the groom's face. It seems something holds you from knowing that information yet, as if not to ruin the experience of finding out for you...IP: Logged |

Surprisingly I wasn't thinking about it at all! The dream sorr of just happened. Red is passion for me and fertility. I took off the coat before we geld hands and started saying vows (we didn't say them but when we held hands and I looked up). The red sleeves were still there. They were shoulder sleeves so I could easily hide them. Hmmm... yeah I don't think the bathroom had much weight except that I wouldn't have privacy while trying to do something private. Someone would be watching me. Weird. I wanna know though!

Please read it as an opinion:
An arm in a dream is associated with strength and “to be ready”. Clothes in a dream leads to the question: What part of me am I ready to show?
This dream indicates to be ready(=arm) for a relationship(=marriage) as well as there might be some healing/closer is needed(=stall).IP: Logged |

Hello Debby This dream could suggest a need for balance or unity between feminine/masculine aspects of self (wedding), perhaps also indicating some sort of transition/change in you or your life. The colors white and red are clues about the merging or conflicting aspects/energies, but I'm not of their exact meaning. Passion, love, anger (red)? Purity, awareness, newness (white)? How do these relate to each other in your life? It could be suggested that you are "climbing your way to the top" of some issue/situation but may find some difficulty/obstacle in letting go or releasing emotional energy (weird bathroom). Is there something in waking life that you are nervous and excited about that could be related to this dream?  IP: Logged |

Transition? Balance? Oh my. O_O I am planning to move out on my own. :l I don't know color means well either, but I was surprised to see the color and then remember it! Haha, I've been thinking a lot about losing my virginity, but eh. IP: Logged |

Being a bride can also represent a subtle change in identity. Looks like you have a lot of this stuff happening in your life. Maybe it is a confliction between passion (red) and purity (white), along with change. IP: Logged |
