Hi, I had this dream... I was watching some characters as if they played in a telenovela. There was the heroine - a young asiatic girl with black hair almost up to her shoulders. She was pretty. She was familiar with some man (they were all asiatic, perhaps japanese or korean). There was a music show. Men have entered. She was excited, but was not permitted by the severe man she knew to participate. A young man came in. The boy and the girl exchanged glances. They probably kind of fell in love, even though they did not yet know each other. But at least they recognised each other in a positive way. The girl seemed very innocent and idealistic. Then two women druged the girl, tied her up and put her in bed between them. They were taking her clothes off. A beautiful woman then came into the hall, where the concert took place. The young man, the hero who fell in love with the heroine, saw that woman and watched her. That woman was the heroine's mother. She had long, brown straight, beautiful hair, and also beautiful, majestic features. She was going up the stairs of the white hall. The hero started to follow her, as he sensed that something was wrong. A young woman followed the hero, and tried to stop him and talk to him. Upstairs at the back, the two mean women were putting the poor heroine's shirt back on. As I watched the tied young woman on the bed between the women, who apparently finished their job with her, I understood that they took away her virginity. They did so in order that the hero would not want her. How will it continue? The end must be good, but you can only know what would follow in the next chapter...
This was my dream.

I like the way you wrote the dream.

Please read it as an opinion:
Deflowering in a dream can show the desire to grow up, but also the desire to find the courage of a new attitude towards life. Sometimes it indicates to lose something that the dreamer was connected to.
This dream indicates that there is a new awareness(=Asian, deflowering) with regards to a relationship(=man/woman,mother/daughter).

That is interesting, GeminiKarat. Is deflowering equal to losing one's virginity? Because it was taken away from the heroine with bad intention to harm her. Would you still consider that new awareness/growth? Mind that she is unconscious during the whole terrible procedure...

Perhaps there is a loss.. but I wonder what kind of loss it is. Even though it is known that there will be a happy end...
What does it mean that I may have lost my virginity? My innosence?

In my personal opinion they are different. You can not get back that special flower, but after a long time of absence you can feel like a virgin again.

According to your dream I see it more into the direction that something unique/innocent was taken away in order to grow up and as you asked:

It is a new perspective in life, a beautiful life of the heroine and the hero.

I wish you all the best with your new perspective!

Hello Ayelet

I see the Asian characters as possibly representing a "foreign" or lesser known part of yourself that is "innocent and idealistic" and about which you have given little thought or attention, until now. It could be suggested that you have recently found a use for this part of yourself, perhaps as an aid in the promotion of a relationship, but it is no longer there, it has changed, and you do not know how or why (girl unconscious during procedure).

Do you feel you have lost something that may be crucial in attracting a relationship?

Has a past bad relationship (severe man) "damaged" you in some way that you fear may affect your ability to attract someone?

Hi Ra!

Thank you for your suggestions and leadings. Well.. I am considered innocent and idealistic by some who know me. I have a darker side too, but this energy of mine is not foreign or unfamiliar. I may have been hurt. I wonder who are the vicious women who undress her/(me?) and rob her of her innocence or virginity. The heroine's mother can actually be my mother, though the hair colour is different. Because when I saw the mother, I was also thinking about my own. I may not be able to attract a relationship right now, but I think there is no one in sight who is really such a close soul to me, enough so I would want to have a love relationship. I have people around, but not a twin soul to share my life with. So I don't know how this situation has to do with either my ability or inability to attract love. Do you think that if I'll heal, he'll suddenly appear?
The severe man from the dream was more of a father figure (though not necessarily a father) than a former-bad-lover figure. He was some restricting authority, saturnine in essence, traditional and consevative, even too much so. He was preventing her from singing. But after losing her virginity, she enters the realm of the forbidden experience and the outcast, so she might just as well sing... She is cast out of society, a true musician... A true woman musician, at that time and place.

Okay, so the Asians may not represent something "foreign" about yourself. What do you associate with Asians?

When we watch a story unfold from an outside, third-person perspective, it is usually the dreaming mind's way of showing us something about ourselves that is difficult to see. Sometimes it is easier to objectively see when it is happening to "someone else".

The two mean women are likely aspects of self, but I'm not entirely sure. I'll be back with more thoughts as soon as I can.

My apologies. Life has thrown me a couple of curve balls, so I've been preoccupied and unable to focus on LindaLand.

But I'll get around to it.

I'm beginning to think I was not meant to interpret this dream. Not only am I having great difficulty pulling my thoughts together around what I see, every time I begin to work on this dream, something happens and prevents me from doing so.

I don't know what that's all about.

I wanted to add to and expand upon GeminiKarat's thoughts, because I think she has the right idea, but maybe I don't need to.

Perhaps the dream is saying that, despite adverse experience and inner conflict, and even because of it, you have found your "song" to sing, your path to walk.

Thank you for trying, Ra. I think this dream reflects on my current situation... and it is definitely a "to-be-continued" episode..
