Just woke up from a terrifyingly beautiful dream and I can't make sense of it. Usually, falling dreams indicate loss of control, which is fine due to the fact that I am officially graduating in a couple of days and don't know what to expect afterwards. But in this dream, the fall was gorgeous AND terrifying. I was in a van (think soccer mom) with my family and we were driving and we suddenly fall off this cliff into a gorgeous rainforest/jungle. It was really far down, a pretty epic height, and i could smell the lush plants and fruits and i could see a gorgeous waterfall across the way. It felt so epic and it was so vivid that I woke up trying to catch my breath. I study my dreams, but this particular one is very confusing, but again, beautiful. Any thoughts?------------------ I'm cut in half pretty bad IP: Logged |

Thank you for your reply! The gravitational force that one feels whilst falling into a rainforest is quite a sensation indeed. And now that we have gotten over this particular sensation, could we focus on the immense beauty that is the forest/ jungle that my subconscious body has fallen into? Since comprehension isn't everyones forte, I am reiterating that I would like to know what falling into a forest/ jungle means. Falling= a feeling of losing self control. I have said before that it was terrifying, but it was only terrifying due to the fact that I woke up catching my breath, the fall in the dream was surprisingly gentle. Now falling into a vivid, picturesque situation that has no connotation to my real life situation, that is something one would like to discuss. I would like to know more about your thoughts, insulting or otherwise. Thank you!------------------ I'm cut in half pretty bad IP: Logged |

Perhaps a forest is really the vast world/life you will enter after you graduate. At least that's your mind's metaphor for it. You said there was a van, family perhaps etc.. Your hopes, expectations and curiosity was there as well in this dream. Forest is both scary and beautiful, vast, to be discovered, but essentially mysterious and unknown... so is life.IP: Logged |

Please read it as an opinion: To fall in a dream can be a s symbol of surprise or disappointment. A forest in a dream can be associated with the realm of the unconscious and natural forces. This dream indicates a surprise(=fall) of the emotional(=waterfall) forces(=forest). Edit: IP: Logged |
