Topic: What do tarantulas mean?

Had a dream that someone let a bunch of tarantulas loose because they were trying to convince me they weren't dangerous. I was f***ing horrified but they started scuttling around my feet and felt so soft and furry and nice.I was still scared but became accepting of them. One tried crawling up the back of my shirt, which really bothered me. I tried shaking it out but then it tried crawling into my pants. I was like NOPE! DONE! Anyway, anyone have some non-conventional opinions on this dream? Google search shows typical spider interpretations...are those usually accurate? Also...the tarantulas were exceptionally hairy. Please read it as an opinion:
A tarantula in a dream is associated with danger , quite toxic and sudden movement. The general meaning can refer to a frightening part of your self, an aspect of you that is poisonous or poisoned or a part of you who is powerful but still dependent on the praise and care of another person.
This dream indicates a dissolution(=no) of a frightening part(=tarantula) of yourself(=shirt,pants).I found that via google.

Imo someone is trying to manipulate you, they or their intentions are not what they appear to be. Watch your energy and emotions for any changes. Few years ago, when I was going through vulnerable stage and I was under constant psychic attack I saw little fury black things like tarantulas running around on the floor. I feel they are negative entities that feed on fear.
My friend had a dream where she saw a furry little thing cuddling in her arms, she rubbed salt into its fur and it jumped off screaming. Her spiritual guide shouted at it 'leave her alone' and it disintegrated puff. IP: Logged |

I have read a lot of conflicting opinions on spiders in dreams. However, those of you saying that it could be a warning that something or someone is not what they seem, that kind of hits close to home. I recently drew a tarot card to describe a new person in my life and the moon card came up which has a similar meaning. Interesting.IP: Logged |

As long as they're gentle from far away  We have a Huntsman Spider in Australia that looks like a distant cousin of Tarantula.
One time I was driving a big one crawled out of somewhere inside the car and jumped on me, I pulled the break in the middle of the road and vacated the premises, stripping down to undies in panic... lol. By far the worst was when one night I woke up coughing and choking as I had something in my throat. Ok I'll leave it at that :-)
