Hello all, I was wondering if someone could help me with my dream that I had just before. It was quite a detailed dream where I decided to have triplets, and I knew that I was going to have them in advance before I fell pregnant. So it started out that I decided that I was sick of finding someone to settle down with because I was 39 (I am not 39 btw, quite a bit younger) and I decided I'd do it with three guys and have three kids at once and they'd be half siblings (because that's totally how pregnancy works). So I did that though that part of the dream wasn't actually shown. I fell pregnant with triplets as expected. My sister sent me an email in my dream predicting that I'd have 2 girls and a boy. I was rather excited about it all, and my belly was beginning to grow throughout my dream and, at one point, when I touched my baby bump, I felt as if it was a familiar feeling, even though I've never been pregnant IRL. I was also thinking about how I would be able to afford them once they are born and what it would mean for my job because I wanted to stay home to take care of them. Finally I gave birth to them (though that also wasn't detailed in the dream) and they were three healthy kids and people all around were congratulating me throughout the dream. I also saw them when they were 2 years old, and all were girls wearing cute flower dresses, but then later in the dream, upon closer inspection, one of them was actually a boy as my sister predicted. In my dream I was planning to quit my full time job while continuing with my side business at home so that I could be with them (I have a side business in reality). I remember feeling so happy that I had them, and they were happy and healthy. What could all of this mean? Just a bit of a back story, a week earlier when I was on the plane, I watched "Bridget Jones's baby", so I guess I felt I had a very slight Bridget Jones theme in my dream and maybe some part of it was influenced by that, but unlike her, I had triplets. I read somewhere that a woman giving birth to triplets signifies success in career but failure in love, which sounds horrible to me, because I've never actually truly been a career woman (it's how my life has panned out somehow) and I've always wanted to settle down and be a stay at home mum. Additionally, I've just recently moved overseas and am trying to set myself up and start a new life. ETA: Oh yeah, lol, also I remember something else in my dream. I was trying to figure out what month the babies would be born, but I was also unsure if they would be premature because they were triplets, and multiple births tend to be premature births. So in my dream I calculated that if they weren't to be premature, then they would be born sometime in September, maybe October if late, but if premature, then maybe in July (that means I felt pregnant last month). When they were actually born I didn't end up taking note of the time. IP: Logged |

Hello bonsai. What a nice dream. How was the feeling through out? Were you feeling good about it or something else? And are you having some guys in your mind who you are waiving as your future life partner? Like wondering with whom you could settle? I also thought if this could mean that 3 things/ideas in your life will bear results as in getting materialised. That may be related to other things also like your work or whatever. Girls I think here means female energy and boy masculine. So something to do with your left and right brain. Like settling for a family could be categorised as 'female' idea and 'career' as masculine? Just my 2 cents. Can you think on these lines and see how it fits?....till our experts chip in. Hi L&L, I had a very pleasant feeling throughout the dream. And I didn't once regret doing what I did and was so happy to have the trio. There isn't anyone who I like or who I consider to be a potential love interest, and there hasn't been anyone for quite a while unfortunately, but love is something I often think about too. Since I've just moved to a new place, I'm also looking for work as well as trying to improve on my singing etc etc. and I was just trying to see how the triplets theme and conception, pregnancy and birth fit in with all that.IP: Logged |

Please read it as an opinion: #3 In general, the number stands for creativity or for the entire soul-life with the ego, the superego and the it. The vision of the dreamer in terms of stability and success will be realized. #9 Nine stands at the end of the single-digit figures, thus symbolizing the end of a development that follows a new phase on a higher level. The dreamer should be aware not to take to much on the shoulders. This dream indicates that the new(=#9) ventures(=pregnancy, baby) can be united(=#3,mother).IP: Logged |

Come to think of it, it is quite interesting that 3 was a big theme in my dream. Didn't occur to me until afterwards. 3 kids from 3 guys at the age of 39, with 9 being a multiple of 3 three times, and 3 + 9 = 12, 1 + 2 = 3. IP: Logged |

Hello bonsai I love everyone’s thoughts. In a slightly different way, I have come to a similar conclusion, so we must be close to the crux of it.
Three babies, three guys, and 39. That’s a lot of threes. Sandra Thomson writes in her book, “A Dreamer’s Dictionary”, “ In Jungian psychology, three is a restless number, symbolizing urgency and striving. It can symbolize the beginning of a destined psychological course or the gathering of creative energies prior to actual creation.” Combine that definition with being pregnant and having babies (which symbolize the creation and growth of something new) and the dream symbology well reflects the energies inherent within what you outlined in your back story. I wish for you the best of luck in your new beginning. How exciting! It looks like energies are falling in line.
